Worst every kitchen appliance purchase. Bought it with so much excitement. It got delivered within a couple of days and the lid wouldnt open. Tried multiple times, watched videos but no luck. I thought ok, defective product let me reach out to customer care. The landline number is out of service and the whatsapp number no one responds to. I contacted amazon customer care and ordered a replacement. It got promptly delivered within a day. I managed to open this one and had fun cooking one full day with it. Next day morning I try cooking in it, I get an E4 error, I refer to the manual and it says contact customer care. Thankfully Amazon has accepted a return. What a joke of a product and brand this is. If you respect your mental sanity and peace, please stay away from this.

Guys, if there's any solid reason you need to invest in Pigeon's electric pressure cooker it is because of no annoying steam bursts. I've tried several brands of pressure cookers, but eventually, they all have issues with steam bursts. This is very upsetting because all the nutritious liquid and masalas overflow and there is so much waste. Moreover, this creates such a mess for cleaning around. We have to clean the gas, the burners, the drip tray, and the area under the cooktop too. I was so surprised to see nothing of this BS happening in this fantastic EPC. No steam burst, no messy clean-ups, no annoying whistle sounds, and the inner pot is made from stainless steel and is so easy to clean. And the food cooked is tasty and gives consistent results every time. The other day, my sister was complaining about the same thing, and I immediately asked her to buy Pigeon's EPC which is not only stylish and sturdy but also reasonably priced. Goodness Heaven - this cooker is a dream come true! No whistles!! 18 food menu; stainless steel, keep warm button, auto start function, imagine – auto start at 12:45 pm, cook in next 12 minutes; keep warm till 1;20pm – open and eat hot food! Another plus - my dishes turn out perfect every time – as timer and temperature is now digital (gas me kum zaada karkey mar jao!), in this you can cook 100 times and food will taste best every time; another point – food wont burn – it will auto shut off after cooking, so take a shower, talk to friends, do whatever!. I make youtube cooking videos so it really helps in terms of looks and quality. So happy, strongly recommend.
