A BRILLIANT choice for kitchen spotlights
I bought 6 of these for our small kitchen and I have to say they are an excellent choice! Previously we had been using halogen GU10s and these are a direct replacement for those. Immediately upon fitting these the kitchen was transformed. The old lights were very yellow in comparison (and you only notice the huge difference after fitting these bulbs). The quality of light is very white, but comfortably so (as long as you don't stare directly at these bulbs - when they are on!) I had read reviews for lights beyond the 5000k light range being very clinical and I was keen to avoid these, though I was hoping for something close to natural daylight. I am pleased to report that these bulbs deliver a bright, 'natural' white light that is a pleasure to work in. Our kitchen units are a high gloss white finish and these really set it off!The light is delivered immediately i.e. there is no warming up, which was often the case with the first generation of energy saving bulbs. There is also no buzzing or any other annoyances. We are using these in a basic white adjustable spot bar with 3 x GU10 fittings (£6) and they are a perfect size for it. By that I am referring to the visible portion of the main body of the bulb, not the GU10 fitting itself.Furthermore, they do not get overly hot (the previous bulbs did, which tarnished the ceiling directly above over time). If you want something clean looking, bright and not overwhelming then these are a great choice.

Perfect replacements for Halogen GU10 lamps
There was an initial problem with my order as it was lost in transit. However, replacements arrived within 3 working days of my notification of non-delivery. Thanks to the helpful Sami.I had bought 4 of these 26 months ago and, disappointingly, one unit became discoloured then failed. The latest ones have a slightly different arrangement of LEDs, have a slightly warmer colour but are considerably brighter. These are the only GU10 LED lamps that are very close in size to the 50W Halogen version so most light fittings will accommodate them. Also, unlike most GU10 lamps, either LED or Halogen, they have a wide beam angle giving an even spread of light without hotspots. An excellent product at a bargain price. Highly recommended.

Good light, but not very reliable
Good bulbs with nice colour (both warm white and pure white versions: they are different in a way I'd expect). They get dimmer with time, but that's expected I think and the dimming is not dramatic.Reliability is an issue though. Advertised 30000 hours is just a legend, I have 14 of them, 8 of which have already failed over 1-2 years. The manufacturer replaces them without any problem though, so I can live with it.

Off to the flickers
I was very pleasantly surprised by these bulbs, I expected them to be about the equivalent of a 20 watt halogen but these have turned out to be VERY bright indeed and I would say in excess of the claimed 50 watt equivalence. So bright are they that I would strongly advise against looking straight at them when lit, I have done twice and it took 10 minutes for the image to fade. If I have one quibble with them and it's a small one, the light is rather fluorescent-like in colour and I don't think they are in the least 'warm'. However as I bought them for my kitchen, they are prefect for that application.Whilst still generally pleased with these bulbs, I was dismayed to find one of the bulbs flickering about a week or two after I installed them. The supplier to their great credit replaced it more or less by return of post and the new one worked fine. Sadly yet another bulb has begun to flicker but I have not advised the supplier although I should. The fact that two bulbs in a row have failed out of a pack of five suggests I might have been premature in my praise.UPDATE:Every single one has now failed and been binned. They were bright and bold but in the end, they turned out to be rubbish. I have replaced them with Philips bulbs from Sainsburys. Same brightness but probably much better quality...so far!

Excellent bright LED lamps
These LED lamps are fantastic. As the LEDs are surface mounted and are literally just under the lens glass (plastic) the light output is far greater and the angle is not restricted to 38-40 degrees zone as other lamps are. Yes there is less light outside of the 'zone' but after comparing with existing LED lamps (Toolstation http://www.toolstation.com/shop/p72565) these are far brighter both inside and outside of the zone.I was sceptical about the quality when I ordered these first (many months ago), but they have proved reliable and see no reason why they could not last 5 years in line with their warranty. So this is now my 2nd purchase of these lamps.Note that these LED lamps are NOT dimmable which is the only downside if you specifically need this. These use a 1/10th of the power of comparable halogen lamps it's a no brainer really, and they do not emit heat (from the lens/front) as the halogen lamps do, but the electronics behind the lens does run warm so would recommend allowing them to cool before removing them.

Good bulbs whilst they work, unreliable product, good customer service
I bought 15 of these just over a year ago. They are excellent bulbs when they work - very bright, a nice warm color (compared to other LEDs that normally are too cool/blue) and they generate almost no heat. The reliability is poor. Some failed in the first month and all 15 have died over a period of 14 months. You can tell when they are about to fail, because they flicker for a day or two beforehand. The only reason for not giving them a 1-star review is because Strictly Lamps' customer service is very good. Each time I have a batch of failed bulbs, Sami has responded by promptly sending replacements.

Hay mejores opciones de compra.
Cumple bien con las especificaciones da buena luz pero hay productos con mejor relación precio, calidad, prestaciones, por lo que resulta algo caro.
