Dr. Woods African Raw Black Vegan Liquid Castile Soap with Pump, 32 Ounce

My son has eczema and this soap is great! It doesn’t irritate your skin, and leaves skin hydrated and soft. It smells amazing too! This soap is not oily or greasy either, and lathers well. I highly recommend! I’m a returning customer, and I’m committed now lol

I would recommend this as a facial soap for anyone with dry, sensitive skin. It leaves the skin feeling soft and hydrated and, most of all, clean! It does have a fragrance which may bother people with allergies to scents, but I find it very pleasant and refreshing.

I have sensitive skin and use this for my face and follow up with coconut oil. It is a gentle exfoliant and doesn't break me out. Have been using this product for a few years now.

If you have good reason to specifically use Castile soap, then be aware that there is no mention of Castile on the label or ingredients list. The description "Dr. Woods Raw Black Liquid Castile Soap with Pump, 32 Ounce." is misleading. Without causing a lot of itching and flaking and irritation and rash; I am limited to using baby shampoo and (apparently) liquid Castile soap on my hair and scalp. I have already suffered one bout of itchiness, thinking this was a Castile soap and using this as a shampoo. I do like the smell, and it does lather very nicely, so I will find a use for it. It is often said that the connection between smell and even distant memory is deeply profound. 4 Decades ago, in the summers, I would explore the seaside cliffs of Southern California; looking down to the beaches and surf below. There were a lot of viney, stringy, succulent sort of ground cover growing along the dry, dusty, reddish cliff-side paths leading to the beach below; and among these succulents there was a sweet aroma that this soap reminds me of. Never smelled that smell anywhere but SoCal.

Add the experience of this soothing, refreshing and cleansing ointment to your daily routine, and it will definitely add a shower of invigorating ambience to your day.
