Nifty computer case!
I wanted to build a new desktop computer for me to use at home and normally get mid-sized ATX computer cases. I got this Cougar computer case because it looked cool and seemed to be the right size for my computer equipment. It does not come with a power supply unit. It is just the case, the screws to attach things to this computer case and it has a nice 120mm rear fan pre-installed already. It has 1 USB 2.0 and 1 USB 3.0 on the front of the case. It has to be connected to the motherboard to work, of course. I was able to install most of the stuff into this case with very little problems. It's a bit deeper than most other computer cases I have had, but a little shorter in height and I had minor issues getting the final stuff installed inside this case due to very limited space. The case seems to be built well, tho the side panels seems rather flimsy. You can install 2 cooling fans on one of the side panels only. Hard drive and DVD/CD unit snaps into place onto the inside of this case.....nifty idea....tho I still used a couple of screws to secure it to the computer case anyways. You can install a cooling fan up front inside the case for max cooling/venting or just leave it as-is for venting air in/out. Overall, this is a great case, tho a little short on height, it's a bit deeper in size than other similar sized computer cases I have had over the years and appears to be fairly well built. I rate this Cougar Spike computer case 5 of 5 stars and this will make a pretty good computer case for most computers.

Great value. Read my FYI if you're planning to use this with a nvidia / EVGA graphics card.
I wanted a mATX case that was not too flashy, with no side window, room for front & back 120mm fans, and a USB 3.0 front header. This was one of the few [surprisingly!] that met all my needs. It was a good choice. This case is an exceptional value considering the quality. I have no major complaints after just completing the build. One suggestion for them would be improve the drive retention clips. They are flimsy, so I just took them off and used screws to secure my drives - no big deal. Overall, the case feels substantial and looks great.*** Also, a FYI for anyone using an nVidia graphics card - many of them seem to come with a mini HDMI port these days (at least EVGA's renditions do), in addition to two DVI ports. Please be advised that with this case, the mini HDMI port will be very close to the case edge and therefore won't be usable unless you buy a small HDMI dongle adapter. Basically, the case edge is too close to the port, which prevents a regular size adapter from going all the way in. I got a dongle adapter and problem solved. You could, of course, use the DVI connection for your monitor, too.**** (The picture shows how the mini HDMI adapter won't go all the way in because the side of the case is blocking the adapter housing. Obviously I made sure the card was seated correctly, and even screwed the bracket in to make sure.)

Good, not great.
I really like the size and look of the case, especially at this price. It can be a pretty tight fit to get all the components in there and there’s not much in the way of cable management, so the insides can get pretty crazy. I would say for the price it is a pretty solid feeling case.My main problem with the case is the front panel USB port. The USB3 port seems OK, but I’ve had 2 of these cases where the USB2 port has either failed or stops working intermittently over time. When I plug in a device to that port, it’s no longer a snug fit…there’s a lot of movement from side to side and the device plugged into that port will stop working. It doesn’t seem to hold up to plugging/unplugging devices very well.

HORRIBLE AIRFLOW
This case has an overall nice design and looks great especially with the rigid lines and honey comb grille. If you add a few LED fans and such it really looks amazing. That's about all I have nice to say about this case. Other wise this is probably the worst case to buy and you should steer far away.My system is nothing top of the line. And my GPU is only a 750ti 2gb which is really small, but powerful. The first thing I am going to mention will lead into the next thing. But, this case has absolutely terrible cable management. I have looked and looked at multiple other builds and theirs are just about the same. But this leads into my next problem. Air Flow, this case has a place for 3 120mm fans. I have my number of fans maxed out in the best airflow situation tested by SpeedFan which is two out fans and two in, the case comes with one fan installed. And from what i've monitored that has kept it the coolest. But 58 degrees Celsius is not cool at all. (136 degrees F). A Friend and I have the EXACT same system, nothing different. I ran GTA V for 25 minutes as well as he did and his CPU maxed out at 52 degrees Celsius. Which is fine for a stock cooler. And mine is still hitting High 50's low 60's. I highly recommend getting a different case and asking about the airflow and reading up on it. Don't be fooled by it's good looks and decent price point....This thing sucks.

Its a Buy
I bought this case for the size and weight (very light), I was doing a transfer of parts verses a new build as my MOB was having issues so I purchased the Micro ATX with a few updated features that my old board did not have. Was not able to take advantage of the USB 3 because of that. The only thing I would watch for is one of the wires got stuck between the side cover lip when it was assembled. I had to nurse the wire back to shape but luckily it didn't break. Great case lots of room for basic computer build With more than enough storage space for hard drives and optical R/W drives.

A good looking case that is a reasonable size... but lacking some features that would make mantenance easier.
I used this case for my first and second PC build. It's small and compact, yet has room for a good graphics card and cooler. The PSU is placed at the top, which I also like. I always get compliments from other PC gamers on this case; they love the look and size. However, I need to get a brace for my GPU and it will not fit because of the case. Furthermore, this case does not have extra space for cable maintenance or openings in the motherboard tray. Thus, cable maintenance and cleaning is a nightmare. Installing a cooler is awful. The only reason I can work with this case is because I am good at tinkering with small electronics. While I do like this case, I would recommend looking for another option. I know I will eventually get a larger one.

Bueno
