Very impressive. Ballence very good. No delaminations, teardrop pattern Damascus. It was sharp when I got it but a stropped a few times it could shave my arm. You can see the demascus pattern in the spine also (authentic). Very solid design. I'm a Ky hunter and this is going to be my new backpacking and hunting knife. I wanted somthing beautiful I can abuse. I definitely got it. I have several other handmade demascus knifes and the lowest price I paid was 60$ and it was not half the quality.3/18/19 - Little complaint. It has a very light coating on it to bring out the Damascus and the sheath comes with a Ferrocerium rod holder. This coating makes it nearly impossible to get a good spark from the Ferrocerium rod. I had to file it off on the spine (and square up the edge) to get a descent spark. I would highly suggest the manufacturer put in a sharp 90 degree uncoated spine for striking the rod after they coat the knife, when they final finish the blade.

I am a knife collector, and this this Damascus knife has to be one of the Most Beautiful Damascus knife I have in possession. It is very sharp and I am sure it can be capable of performing any tasks at hand, but I have purchased this as a display item in my collection. I wish it had come with a better sheath, but I purchased CFK brand sheath which fit the knife perfectly. I am very happy with this purchase. I would recommend this Damascus knife to any knife enthusiast. Thank you WolfKling for making this knife.
