I used it primarily for my leather products. I have a set of leather gloves and shoes and used the large brush for both. It worked wonderfully! It's super soft and does a great job of removing excess dirt to prepare it for restoration and polish. Go for it, if you're looking to get a good horse hair brush.

I love these horsehair brushes. They make my leather boots and shoes really shine. And the included buffing cloth is definitely worth using because it adds that finishing touch of gloss.

My husband ordered these to help clean his work boots. He did pair this set with a boot oil and it worked beautifully!

I bought it because I was hammered beyond human comprehension at my wife’s work Christmas party and somehow convinced myself that buying used rattlesnake skin boots off Facebook Marketplace was a solid, adult decision. The next morning I woke up: • Hungover like I got hit by a forklift • $240 poorer • In possession of boots that looked like they had been through a house fire, a divorce, and a swamp These boots were crispy. Dry. Dusty. Questionable. They smelled like Marlboro Reds and bad decisions. Enter: The Four Horsemen of the Shoe-Care Apocalypse — this brush set. Let me tell you something. These are not brushes. These are tiny horse-haired angels sent from God to forgive me for my sins. The first brush hit the boot and dust flew off like the exorcism scene from The Exorcist. I bought these to use on some old leather jackets that need some love. The bridges are sturdy enough to clean the leather and apply products without needing to use a ton of elbow grease, but they're not so stiff that they damage the leather. No bristles have fallen out. The different sizes in this kit come in handy for doing both large areas and nooks and crannies. I definitely recommend these brushes to anyone looking for a set.
