The Guitar Style of George Benson

This item arrived in excellent condition

These tabs in this book are very good! I've been getting more into jazz playing and 60's and 70's Benson seems like a logical place to start. I found this book very easy to follow and very helpful. I would call this collection very good but not great. What keeps it from being great is that each transcription is incomplete. Otherwise it's a wonderful study of an underrated player....ThanksTonyKnoxville, TN

This is a disappointment - the book does not include any full transcriptions. It is OK if you just want to look/study a few snippets. Returning.

I bought this because I was looking for transcriptions of George Benson's solos. I was particularly excited to potentially get the solo on the tune "What's New." Sadly, the book includes the tune, but doesn't really get into the solo. If you are happy with a few snippets, this book might work for you. A much better book for George Benson solos is Wolf Marshall's Best of George Benson which also includes a CD.

All songs have either intros or solos missing nothing is complete.Why even try to learn a something we cannot finish...One might think these guys would think of helping aspiring guitar players.....Not so ..Very disappointing.

This book was a total disappointment. There were NO tabs of the actual solos. Only the head. Not worth the money
