installed this switch inside my minkoda battery box as a kill switch in case I fall overboard. key out means motor runs .stick key in switch and it turns off the power. just the opposite of what I thought I read in the description.

the stem of the switch is so short that I had difficulty mounting it, after I drilled the hole to mount it I had to take a dremel tool and grind down the back side of the area I had to mount it because it was thicker than the amount of threads on the switch and this switch has to mounted near the operator and options are limited, an extra 1/8" or more of threaded shaft would be very helpful.

I installed it on a 25hp Nissan late 80s model and it worked, I had to shave a little off the back to get it to fit but other than that it worked just fine!!

Saved me a bundle. I used this in place of my handle bar kill start switch. 10 bucks Vs 160. Easy choice

works directly opposite to its description - key in means engine wont run - why?

I bought this for an outboard motor. It is complete junk. The product may work, if I could get one that's not already broken. I received two that were broken. I was unable to get a refund because I wanted a replacement and it was sent for free. Now I'm out 12 dollars for nothing. The button is held on by a very small plastic piece that is the Achilles heel of the product.

Little better instructions but pretty straightforward on install if you do much diy rigging

I was unhappy with my product 🙁 we had ordered several of these at different times and each one we received was broken . They would send another replacement and it would broke as well 🙁
