Ok this little monster has everything. Harmonizer , delay, chorus, distortion, phaser, reverb, different cabinets and EQ, and even drums . It sounds great. I use it for practice with headphones. Is just amazing. I haven't tried it with my rig. No need since I have Boss processing sound for it. But I wouldn't doubt; it has great sound also. I read the battery feature is no good which is not important to me since this comes with a/c adapter. I have tried others like this but the sound were horrible. This is by far the best on this price range. BTW you also can change the pitch of your guitar tunning with pitch shifter to match the song tunning you want to practice without having to retune your guitar. You can also connect your cellphone to play along via the auxiliary + headphones ( i would recommend using good headphones i 'm currently using skullcandy crusher To add more bass to the sound)

Really cool little processor
Okay this isn't a GT-1000 or a Helix, but for the price and what it is - it is a really cool little practice unit with an excellent variety of sounds for its size. It does take a bit getting used to the operational interface - once you work with it a little it becomes easier to operate. I won't sugar coat it, it does take some digging and tweaking to get the sounds you want - but they are in there. The effects quality is so much better than I imagined it would be. It runs on 2 AAA batteries and it also comes with a power adapter. I am using this to practice when I go to bed at night, I just plug in my guitar, phones, and I can start conjuring up some spacey ideas with reverb and delay - ambient sleep music. Or whatever comes to mind at any given time. The bottom line is this is a super portable effects unit (with amp models) that doesn't break the bank and it works surprisingly well. You just have to take the time to dial in your sounds. I have been playing guitar for 58 years so I have used many effects pedals over the years - just saying that this is a real surprise for the price.

High Fun to Dollar ratio, great little guitar practice tool
It's a guitar preamp with effects and it has drum loops for inspired practicing or song writing. It can run from internal batteries or standard (Roland style) external 9-volt power. The amount of functions in this box is amazing. It is so light weight that my guitar cord wants to pull it off the table. The distortion sound is good, with variety and lots of choices. The drum rhythms surprised me, again, inspirational type drums to help with practice or inspiring a new song. I like the analog volume control in the side of the unit, no menu diving for the most important variable, output level. Too soon to judge durability but I take care of my stuff so I expect this to last. I used it with a Joyo 9-volt power supply 5 battery which I bought on Amazon, two hours of fun playing did not reduce the battery power gauge at all. So far I love this little self contained guitar amp and headphone amp package - currently playing it through a Headrush FRFR GO amp which also came from Amazon. Having a lot of fun, making some crunchy rock tones, kill'n it! Good Music To You!

Great Value for the Money
This mini headphone amp is the perfect solution for practicing guitar in limited space situations. It saves time since I don’t have to haul out a bunch of equipment to get great sound and a range of spatial effects and amp emulations. It’s more versatile than the plug in direct type, as it has signal out and an aux. in. I love many of the presets and the built in drum machine is a fantastic bonus. Much burlier than I was expecting, with aluminum chassis. Comes with power adapter and has the option to run on two AAA batteries. And it’s only 3”x5”. It’s a WIN WIN!!

Well Made and Fun as Hell !!
The PE100 is well worth the money. It's a solid built that comes with a Power Cord, not mentioned. It also runs off batteries as well. The PE100 comes loaded with 198 presets, 36 effects, Drum Machine, Metronome, Tap Tempo, Aux In and Headphone jack. So, it can be used as part of your pedalboard or as a standalone practice amp using nothing but headphones. The presets on the PE100 are similar to the Boss BR8 and subsequent recorder/mixers, modeling amps like The Line 6 Bogner digital amp, with pre-amp tubes, Fender Modeling amps, The Tascam DP32 and 64 series of Recorders and Mixers. Where in all cases, the presets have a name that identifies it with either a familiar song or artist name. And the effect will immediately bring either that recording artist or song to mind. This is a massive tool for any guitarist tool kit. Whether on the pedalboard or on the table. It's fun to use. I'm playing it through a Marshall Stack, tubed amp. And whether in clean or dirty mode, the effect still overrides the Clean/Dirty effect of the amp. Meaning that in Crunch mode, I don't lose the effect, I just gain one. Also using in conjunction with other pedals I play with, like the Steve Vail Dunlop Bad Horsie Wah Contour Pedal. Same thing. I have the BH after the PE100, and can still clearly get exactly what I want. I have a lot of gear. Guitars, Amps, Mixers and Pedals. And in many cases for myself there are redundancies. None the less, this pedal makes getting there a whole lot faster. If you want a really good pedal with some amazing sounds, that won't cost you a weeks pay. Then try this one out.

I got this little over a month ago. I can't say features are intuitive, but it took me a while to figure out how its features work. I find the guitar tuner too sensitive and a bit inaccurate, as I have to struggle to tune my guitar, as the tuner erratically shows notes that are way off the strings I pluck. Apart from these aforementioned cons, the effects work fine.

My guitars sound absolutely awesome with all the different effects. Great price!
