My son said, “these are the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever had.” We’ve bought other barefoot shoes in the past that were more expensive, but we like these better and are thankful these are reasonably priced. Great for sports and hiking. With daily use, they have held up well, sole and shoe perfectly intact. They have good grip in the bottom and are lightweight. Fit is true to size. He liked them so much, I also got my husband a men’s pair.

I bought these for my 7yo who is currently wearing kids size 3 sneakers from Walmart, and his toes touch the tip so he needs the next size. It was HARD getting the right size for him. Saguaro Big Kid size 4 was giant, about 2 sizes too large. We tried a similar shoe by Quikshark brand, and the size 2 Big Kid fit him. I'm still messing with ordering options from this brand to see if we can find the right size for him. We liked these slightly better than Quikshark due to the softer insole and softer base of shoe if you want to remove the insole. I also bought these for my 3yo who is currently wearing toddler shoes size 10. We also tried several sizes before deciding on the ones called 11 Little Kid. When the shoes arrive, their EU size is on the sole, which I wish they'd just add that to the Amazon description because it would make it less confusing the difference between Little Kid and Big Kid and Toddler etc. Why we like the shoes: lightweight, thin flexible soles but not too thin. Removable insole has a tiny bit of arch support and heel lift, but you can take out the insole or replace it for a zero-drop fit. We have been learning about barefoot shoes, and these were our first attempt to transitioning the kids to shoes that have thinner soles and room for wide toe splay, without breaking the bank. Both the kids I mentioned are REALLY REALLY picky about shoes, and these were an instant winner once we got the size right. I also bought the same brand in adult sizes for my 10yo, and he's been wearing them everywhere also. My kids spend a lot of time actually barefoot, so I'm grateful to have a shoe option that supports their natural width of foot and toe. My suggestion would be to order three sizes within the general range of what you think you need, and try them on to get the right fit, and return the others. It was a big hassle to keep ordering and returning multiple times, and then not be totally sure which was the right size since the actual shoes are labeled in EU but Amazon has them labeled in US, and since they didn't even match up to the US sizes my kids are actually wearing.

We have owned several pairs of these now and my son loves them. The quality is great and withstands a ton of abuse. The toe box is large giving room for my kiddo’s growing feet. I can’t say enough good things about these shoes.

The shoes are as described, flexible with a large toe box, lightweight..etc. Cons: One complaint I have is the lacing system. The little plastic mechanism used to keep the laces tight constantly comes loose and the shoes fall of. Thankfully, I ordered this shoe and the black pair, and the black pair came with an extra lacing set so I was able to replace the mechanism. The second issue is the durability, I have already ordered a replacement for the black pair, because my son was able to tear a whole in the top of one, while playing outside. Im a bit surprised at this, the yellow/gold pair is still in excellent shape.. We have had these for 3 weeks, and are able to machine wash them and then sun dry, which is awesome! I have always made sure my kids wear low drop flexible shoes, but my oldest still has weaker feet, in the shoer time we have owned these I have noticed an increase in my oldest sons foot strength!! I will continue to buy these shoes.

My kid adores these shoes, and they’ve held up well. After a few months of frequent wear, they’re in better shape than most kid shoes. They’ve gotten wet and gone through the wash and looked good as new. I think the fit is accurate if you know your child’s euro size. My child says they’re more comfortable than his previous sneakers, and that we should buy barefoot shoes all the time now. These aren’t very warm, so I wouldn’t recommend for winter wear.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I was really excited to try these as we've been using barefoot shoes for years. They look great, and have lots of fun color options. They are really comfortable for my son, and the Velcro strap is excellent for getting a good fit. They have not held up as well as expected. My sons been using them consistently for about three weeks and there are already some tears on the toe. We do lots of walking and playgrounds and activities, so if you are looking for hiking shoes these might not be the best bet.

Our son is 4, and we’ve been buying these shoes since he first started walking. They fit incredibly well and always provide plenty of space for his feet. The barefoot design is perfect: flexible, comfortable, and great for healthy foot development. We keep coming back to them because they’re just that good!

The color is awesome and the fit is as it should be. They’re super light within and flexible sole. Our 4yo loves these shoes! We plan on buying more in different colors!
