I recommend this product it works well and I would for sure buy again I wanted a natural wood look for this shelf without the harsh chemicals. I used 320 and 400 grit sand paper to prepare the board. The full link of the board photo is right after I finished the application, the rest it’s been a few hours I am going to see what happens as time goes along for the next 24 hrs and I am waiting on the varnish to complete the look. I can say the size of the bottle size did this 1x12x12 with some left over although this is one coat of your looking for a light/ happy medium natural wood color 1 coat I believe if I put another coat on it would be darker but this color works for my project. It’s easy to clean up because it’s water based. I will say that the product came with a seal over the cap and on top but the bottle did have something in the side and the position did remove some wording from the direction side. Looking for a light/medium wood color this is the color and the finish color is wonderful, and this size bottle will give you enough for small projects. I would buy this again if I needed another board colored or stained and I am sure if this product is this gorgeous the others will be too.

It seemed a little fishy at first, but turned out great! So dang easy to use, way faster than any other stain I have worked with!

The color was accurate and easy to work with. No smell which is a big plus. However, this is NOT for outdoor use as stated. It is water based and will not survive the outdoors. I was using mine for indoors so it was fine. But if you need something for outdoors, purchase something oil based.

Redid all touchups

There's no way I got anywhere close to the project coverage stated on the bottle which was 32 sq ft for 250ml. Actual coverage was about one forth or less of this advertised amount. i.e. I only got about 8 sq ft. for just one coat. Also,the density of the stain color was very weak. In order to get a good dark even stain coverage, using their slate color, required multiple coats. For my purpose I also found the bottle to be inconvenient to use. However, I suppose it depends on how you are applying it. Granted, I used this on a previously unfinished cabinet door. I suspect coverage projection could be greater if it were used on previously finished/sealed piece of furniture that only required touch up. All in all I do not recommend this product. The decreased coverage rate and the lack of density requiring multiple coats made this product a lot costlier to use than similar products I have used in the past.

This little bottle doesn't go very far. I had to buy a second bottle because I was afraid of buying another brand in the same color but it being off. But next time I need to stain something I'll most likely look into something not as expensive. It's ok quality. It also dried too quickly to properly work with on a small porch I used it on. If you're doing really small projects this is fine. But because it dried so quickly and my porch is right beside a fence, I had issues doing it quickly and it left streaks and when I'd have to stop on a board and do another section and the previous section dried, you can tell where I stopped and started. It'll work out with some sanding and not be as noticeable, but for as much as it costs for two bottles and me using this on a rental unit I really didn't want to invest as much as I did into this project. I just knew my landlord was going to leave the new porch unstained and not weather sealed and I want to live here a long time and it look nice so I decided to attempt it.

I started by using a wax wash remover on an old pine filing cabinet, then applied roughly 1.6 bottles of black stain to achieve the finish. It took about six applications spread over a week, but the result turned out great with a clean, even look. The product has no noticeable odor, and when a small amount spilled on the carpet, it cleaned up easily with just soap and water. I would recommend wearing gloves during use. I applied the stain with a washcloth, and noticed that areas I hadn’t cleaned thoroughly required extra work. For the best results, I recommend making sure the surface is well-prepared and free of wax buildup before applying the stain.

This is a great mahogany varnish.

Easy to apply and the shade was perfect for my coffee table which has a light oak marquetry top. There is a QR code on the bottle and I just basically followed the instructions provided on the website. Prior to using the stain, I tried sanding the table top by hand, but it wasn't enough and I had to resort to using a mouse sander to get the old finish of the top. Then, using 120 & 80 grade sandpaper, I took it down to the bare wood as there was also old cup stains to sand away. I then applied 3 coats of stain, using a rag, and so far I've applied 2 coats of varnish (Ronseal quick dry), but I will probably apply another coat. For a few hours work, the table looks amazing! I have posted before & after pics. The quick drying time is definitely a plus, and as long as the old varnish or wax is sanded away, it applies evenly and dries lighter to a nice, natural light oak finish. There was also no overpowering smell which was a bonus. Best £10 I've spent in a while! Highly recommended.

So easy to use and yes it’s is odourless. Depend the wood may need more than one coat but color is nice

Lo utilicé para reparar la puerta de entrada. Es un tinte que no hace olor y se aplica fácilmente con brocha o con un trapo. cada pasada va quedando un poco más oscuro. lo he aplicado sin quitar el barniz anterior y ha quedado bien. Junto al aceite natural de linaza la puerta ha quedado muy bien. Como no quité el barniz anterior el aceite ha tardado mas de una semana en secarse, pero queda bien. Solo di una mano de aceite
