TIS (TM) Paint Protection Film. Our clear gloss transparent paint protection film is of a premium quality and manufactured in Japan. This product is designed to protect your cars paintwork from day-to-day wear such as stone chips, scuffs, scratches and weathering. It can be fitted to virtually any area, ie. : Bonnets, Bumpers, Wings, Door handle inserts, Key holes, Side mirrors, A-pillars, Wheel arches, Headlamps etc. As used by professional installers our film has 3 x layers : 1) The backing layer, 2) The self-adhesive clear gloss paint protection film and also, 3) a clear protective top surface film. The top protective surface film completely eliminates potential scratches / marks to the product when applying and is simply peeled away when fitted. The film is easily applied with a 200:1 mix of water and mild soap solution (Fairy Liquid as an example). The excess water and air is then removed using a squeegee (or old credit card) and left to dry for 24 hours. Our film can be easily formed / stretched around very tight curves easily using heat from a hairdryer (or similar).
