The sound felt a bit too bass-heavy and not very balanced, especially coming from a more critical listening perspective. As a consumer headphone, it clearly leans towards a colored sound signature rather than accuracy. However, with continued use, they really started to grow on me. One thing they absolutely get right is comfort — I can wear them for long sessions without any fatigue. And while not all elements in a mix are clearly audible (especially finer details), the overall listening experience is fun and engaging. These headphones shine best with genres like EDM and hip-hop, where the boosted bass actually enhances the vibe and makes tracks more enjoyable. Overall verdict: The boAt Rockerz 550 is decent for music and casual use, but gets hot, feels plasticky, leaks sound, and isn’t great for gaming. Sound wise its good but coming to build quality it wont be last longer even if you are careful user, It is very delicate at the hinges. But i have a solution if you want to make it usable even after it is broken. I used an old water bottle and wire tags to make it usable (you may have to compromise comfort ). I'm sharing pics to get an idea
