Great guitar, great quality, great price!
Great all solid wood guitar with wonderful tone! Mahogany and spruce compliment each other well, I like this combo better than the rosewood LL 16. Beautiful finish, Yamaha deliver great value for your money! Very high standard quality control, buy with confidence!

Great guitar, and truly amazing for the money
This is probably the best sounding acoustic I've ever played. I traded with a friend at a recent jam, and let him play my LL16M while I played his D-28. It wasn't even close; the tone, sound quality, balance, and loudness were all significantly better with mine. The difference was drastic. His strings were 2 months old, but mine (Elixir lights) were 3+ months old; it should be said, though, that Elixirs are known for lasting longer. I was anxious to switch back, and relished the sound of the LL16M when I got it back after a few songs. I've also played other mid-range Yamahas like the LLX16 (a rosewood version), A3R, A3M, and AC3R, and it's shocking how great they all are for the money. Heck, even their new FG830 with the scalloped braces is pretty amazing, and is one of the best overall guitars out there for under $1k. The LL16M is my personal favorite among that group. Beautiful guitar at a great price!
Beautiful guitar at a great price. I was quite concerned when UPS handed me the box. The Yamaha box was really damaged in the fretboard area and had been taped up and there were other puncture marks in the box. Fortunately, the bag and instrument had no damage and the pickup works fine. I'm very happy with this purchase. Yamaha could do better by packaging the instrument in a heavier cardboard box for shipment purposes of Amazon should put it in another box for shipment. I would prefer Amazon Prime delivery, but you can't pick the carrier. Prime Delivery does an excellent job at handling packages and making deliveries.

love this guitar, Yamaha blends performance and art
Wow, what an amazing guitar, absolutely flawless build and love the gold colord strings. Everything about the guitar is quality. I have the ll16m and really like it.

Great guitar for the money. Well balanced sound. Shopped for months and this is easily best value. Perfect for finger picking. Love it!!!
