Good quality, good sound, comfortable - Great value for the price
I've used only earbuds previously (tried and did not like a full over-ear set), so these “air conduction” headphones are a bit of a change. So far, so good ... Sound quality is good. I listen to a variety of music styles. Volume and depth are very good; bass comes through clearly, and there is no tinny crackling. These aren't high-end, but they're not bad - definitely better than other solutions I've tried and great for the price. These seem pretty well put-together. Finish is bright and attractive, and seems like it will stand up to sweat and dirt OK. Nothing seems flimsy or loose. Environmental sounds come through; because of the "open ear" architecture, these are NOT (can't be) noise-cancelling units. Also, bystanders can hear your music if you turn the volume up. This isn't objectionable for places like the gym - you can have a conversation with them on, and there's no reason to remove them to do so. However, there is some sound bleed in quieter environments which may disturb those around you. And, as mentioned, these don't do much to mitigate a noisy environment. Battery life seems great so far - I haven't fully discharged them yet after several days of use. Probably due to licensing fees, these don't use a standard charging cable. The proprietary ones work just fine, and they give you two in the box, so you can keep one at home and one at work or in the car. It would be ideal to be able to use my iPhone lightning cable or a more ubiquitous USB model; with these, I've got one more cable to keep track of. They pair up immediately and the signal is fine - no latency or jaggy sound. These fit me pretty well. They are definitely more comfortable than over-ear or earbud solutions I've tried previously. They are springy enough to match my ears, but aren't really adjustable in any permanent way I could find. I'll probably use them mostly for lawn work and at the gym.

Surprisingly Good!!
I have owned and used a number of wireless ear and headphones over the years -- going all the way back to Plantronics Back Beat Go's, Earins, Trelabs, Galaxy Lives, Cambridge Audios and Apple AirPods. Honestly, it's been a thing with me and I've spent way too much money over the years chasing my wireless grail, especially for air travel and exercise situations. When I was offered the opportunity to try out Purity Air Open Ear Headphones, I honestly wasn't expecting much at that price point. Oh boy, was I wrong. The Puritys (sp?) are easily the most comfortable ear phones I've used. They just float above your ears but always remain snug enough to stay in place. Some serious thought has gone into the design and fabrication of the band connecting the two ear pieces, that's all I can say. Easy to put on, easy to take off, no interim adjustments needed. I was also really surprised at the sound quality. It is really outstanding -- good sound reproduction, deep bass, accurate highs. My guess is that the extra space in the earpieces have allowed Purity to use drivers that are larger than normal compared earphones that fit in your ear, and additional size definitely sounds like it in terms of easy and accuracy of reproduction. They also have plenty of volume and I had no difficulty answering phone calls with them. And as a bonus, all the sound reproduction goodness coexists effortlessly with the ability to hear ambient sounds around you and maintain situational awareness. So far battery life seems great and I am look forward to using these on a regular basis for walking around the neighborhood with my dog, where situational awareness is important. Two small niggles. First, the controls could be a little bigger, especially if you're a less than graceful male with big fingers. They're not awful. They could just be larger. Hopefully the next version will have bigger controls. Second, the earphones use a proprietary cable to charge. The good part is that the cable uses gold contacts that eliminate any penetrations in the Purity's shell. Put they're proprietary, so you can't use a USB-C or micro-USB cable. One more cable to carry around -- although thoughtfully two cables are provided with each purchase. Overall, highly recommended if you're looking for something that's comfortable, secure, has good sound and you aren't likely to loose down a drain or other hazard, and all at a very reasonable price.

Great product for the price!
Overall for the price, this is a nice, lightweight, inexpensive device with really good sound and comfort. Comfort Very light weight. They fit over the ear and around the back of your neck. It is not adjustable, but seems to be plenty of room to fit around all different head and neck sizes. Looking up and down while wearing a hooded sweatshirt does sometimes hit the back of the arm that fits around the neck, but it does not move the speakers around your ears, at least it did not for me. The fact that it sits over the ear and then in front of the ear is nice. The ear pods that go into your ear can become uncomfortable over long periods of time, so this is a nice change of pace without sacrificing sound. Sound I thought the sound was nice, good treble and bass. It did not blow me away with the clarity, but I thought it sounded really good. I'm not sure they were really noise canceling because I could still hear things around me, which I do not mind because if I were to use these while jogging or something else, I could still be aware of my surroundings with my ears without losing focus of what I am listening to. Because they sit infront of the ear and not inside of the ear, the sound was audible to other people. I tried it at different volumes, ranging from comfortable to me to extreme loud, and regardless of the volume, others could hear the sound. This may not be an issue, but depending on where you are using them, it could be. I have not tried using these for calls yet. Usage Powering on and pairing was very easy, no issues. There are two buttons and it is a a matter of getting used to which is the power button. Using the volume buttons up and down was awkward and found that if I pressed too hard or held down it skipped to the next song. That said, I normally don't use the buttons on the headphones and typically use the buttons on the device that I am using so I am not sure if this gives the best review of button pressing. I was able to pair to multiple devices, although not hooked to different devices at the same time which is understandable. When a device is disconnected on one device, it immediately goes into pairing mode, or you can connect to your other device through the bluetooth settings. Price The price was very reasonable for the quality of item received. Cons The charging for the headphones uses a proprietary cord. This is annoying because it means you have to keep track of another cord and cannot use what you already have, or use the same cord for your multiple devices. The device does come with two charging cords which is an added bonus so that if one does go bad, you do have a backup so you don't need to worry about securing an additional cable. That said, the price of the headphones as a whole is cheaper than some cables out there so overall it is not that bad of con to deal with.

Headphone For People Who Don’t Like Headphones
I have tried many different types of headphones. In general, I don’t like them. I have a hard time keeping earbuds in my ears, and they start irritating my inner ear within 30-45 minutes. The larger traditional headphones hurt my head. These are the first air conduction headphones I’ve tried, and overall, they’re the only ones I’ve used so far that don’t hurt my head or ears. I’m not a real audiophile, so I can’t comment on the sound quality. It sounds good to me. I thought sound would be heard by others, since the headphones float over the ears, but when I’ve been around other people, they can’t hear any sound. Pairing is fast and just like the process for any Bluetooth accessory. Open Bluetooth in the settings, find “P Air k7” and select it. There is an LED indicator that flashes when it’s pairing and is solid blue when it’s paired. It can also be reset if it has previously been paired to a different device. They’re lightweight, easy to put on, and the controls are on the bottom of the right earpiece, making control much like others I’ve tried. Turning them on and off, changing the volume, skipping to next track, or answering or ending a call depends on pressing on 2 buttons or small nubs on the bottom of the earpiece. That takes a little getting used to, but is not difficult. The headphones are charged via a mag safe charger, and an extra is included. The battery life is sufficient for normal listening times, and charging doesn’t take long. The price is excellent for headphones that are comfortable and work well. I recommend them!

Better then I tought
Expectation When I purchased these headphones, I was not familiar yet with the open-air concept. Comfort I've used them for a little while now. Based on my experience with these phones, I must say that it has been awesome. When talking about headphones, you might think of something heavy, but this product is absolutely lightweight. At times I even forgot I had it on my ears, although... that would be after I got used to the slight tension it causes on your outer ear, comparable to when you buy a new pair of sunglasses. You can feel the tension a bit, but it's something you can live with. (Ps... this is not the case anymore) No slipping The earbuds I purchased earlier keep falling out of my ear when I get sweaty and move around, but not this headphone. It doesn't get dirty or sweaty from your skin or ear because it's on your ear and not in your ear. This is so cool. You can bend and jump all you want, work in the garden, etc., but it stays right there on your ear. Sound The sound is good enough and loud enough. For the price of course you understand that you won't get top-of-the-line quality, but I'm absolutely satisfied with what I get out of it. You can have a conversation while listening to soft music in the background. You can hear everything around you, and that's the idea. I like it, especially in traffic. Connecting The speed with which these phones connected with my phone through Bluetooth was super! When you get the warning that your battery is low for the third time, it will shut down immediately. It does not take long before it does that after you get the first warning. Magnetic I also like the fact that the charger plug is magnetic. No fiddling to put the charger plug in the right way. The magnet helps you to do that. What I would change If there was one thing that I would change, then it's that the band that connects the two phones around the back of your head is not flexible, so when you rest the back of your head against when sitting, or if you think of lying down with these phones, then you'll notice this. Apart from that, I'm very happy with my purchase :-)

Incredible sound for this price!
I just ordered another pair before they go up in price or change them. Heck, maybe I'll order three or four. They are that good and I can't believe how inexpensive they are. I've been mostly wearing the bone conduction headphones and these fit a lot like those but these are lighter and even more comfortable because of that light weight. I can easily wear these all day without noticing. They have a clearer sound than bone conduction and have a higher max volume. That is helpful on bike-rides with wind noise. They also have less 'sound bleed', where others can hear them faintly. I ordered several kinds of this new compact "on ear" style from a different site and expected those to sound great. Those are ok but this pair definitely sounds better than 4 other more expensive ones I'm testing. It has surprisingly good lows, all the other ones I've tried sound very tinny (hollow). Also these seem to handle calls better than other cheap headphones as I've had no complaints about voice quality. I like the charging method, it's a magnetic connection instead of the usually USB-C with the rubber plug that is always a pain and usually ends up falling off anyway. Though it is a special cable you have to keep track of. Very impressed that they included two of those cables. I also like the buttons. Usually this type of headphone has 2 or 3 tiny buttons close together. On these, the 'main button' is placed on the front corner and farther from the secondary button. That's a big improvement. Like on a run I can find and push the right button more easily than having to feel for where it is. Audio disclaimer. I'm comparing these to other headphones in the $30 range. These sound better than the 5 others I've tried around that price. I'm mostly listening to youtube, netflix, udemy, podcasts, etc. Music sounds good to me on these too but I'm not pretending to be an audiophile. If you have high standards about headphone music quality then I don't know why you are reading reviews of headphones that cost less than a lunch at McDonalds. I don't leave many reviews on amazon but had to for these. These headphones are fantastic.

A good value for the price!
tl;dr: pleasantly surprised by the overall performance of the Purity Air earphones. if you’re looking for an affordable pair of open ear earphones for running, biking, or walking around town so that you don’t get hit by a bus, I would solidly recommend. probably would recommend still having a primary set of headphones for when you’re inside and want a higher quality listening experience. Let me start by saying that i can be a bit of an earphone snob. I don’t have the highest tolerance for poor sounding earphones, nor did I have high hopes for the usability of what are essentially little speakers next your ears. With how crazy people are on the roads these days though, I wanted to bite the bullet and see how a pair of open ear design earphones would perform. And I can honestly say that the Purity exceeded my expectations. Don’t get me wrong, these are sub $20 earphones and you’re not going to be forgetting that while using them. the sound is lacking definition, especially in the low end. They get reasonably loud but start to hurt when you turn them up all the way. But other than that, they really do sound great for what you paid for them. i had no problem jamming out to my favorites and i didn’t feel like i was losing out too much by listening to them on these. they’re also very good for listening to podcasts or other spoken media, as the drivers seem tuned to keep the mids clear and understandable. as far as noise bleed is concerned, while i certainly wouldn’t use them for any sort of sensitive information, it wasn’t nearly as bad as i was expecting. if you keep the earphones at a reasonable volume you shouldn’t have any issues with disturbing anyone nearby. the earphones were easy to pair and didn’t have any issues to speak of. luckily the Purity has all the playback control buttons you need clustered on the right earphone (something you can’t take for granted on affordable headphones and is a huge pet peeve of mine when it isn’t included). my only issue is that pausing takes a double tap of the main button which isn’t all that intuitive. the battery of the Purity earphones is solidly above average. I wasn’t worrying every outing whether or not they were going to die on me. i do wish the charger wasn’t a proprietary design because i know im going to lose it eventually. as a thoughtful touch they at least include two in the box for when that happens. the only other issue i had was the general comfortability of the earphones. for a product designed around being lightweight and out of the way, it would be really great if they included a little padding to further that goal. again, given the price i’m willing to cut the Purity earphones a little slack. Overall, for the price, you can do a whole lot worse (and I have). The Purity open ear earphones are a great option to have on hand when going outside. they’re tough, inexpensive, sound more than good enough, and keep you aware of your surroundings.

The audio clarity is simply outstanding. Whether I'm listening to my favorite playlist or tuning into a podcast, every note and word comes through with remarkable clarity and depth. Situational Awareness: One of the standout features of these headphones is their ability to maintain situational awareness while listening to music or taking calls.
