The first string I ordered didn't work outside. Some fluke, I guess. By the time I discovered this I was beyond the Amazon return date. However I reached out to Brightown. They responded right away and then sent me a brand new replacement string of lights and they are working perfectly outside. In fact, the lights stayed on all night the first night.

These lights are perfect on my front porch & they were a steal!

each night the lights revert to a random pattern, though I have them on steady light - each night I go out and change the pattern back - a little annoying; make sure you know these lights are very little and plastic

Cheap. The wire broke. Returned the first and got a second replacement and it did the same thing. No good.

Okay, these are great! They work great and look beautiful. They are small little bulbs and have held up very well. I have them put up in a shed and the solar battery is outside. It retains the battery life so well that it stays lit up every night. Great buy!

They don't charge the best in the daylight so I have to plug them in when the battery gets low. The glow is very nice. The odd thing about these lights....Everytime I use my Roku remote, it not only works for my T.V. but it turns the lights off and on as well.
