I'm 62 and want to learn preasure canning. Did lots of homework. The all american has the safety features I wanted, very heavy and well made. I absolutely love the 💚 green.

I’m not sure if this needs to be broken in or is defective, but the lid gets stuck every time I use it where as I’ve never experienced that with my original aluminum. She’s cute, but she’s more high maintenance. I can’t get the lid off without a screwdriver. It’s also more difficult to keep the pressure steady and requires more babysitting. It does the job and cans beautifully! I just have to work a little harder for it than I do the plain version.

Fits Approximately 19 Regular Mouth & 18 Wide Mouth Pint Jars | Fits Approximately 7 Regular Mouth & 6 Wide Mouth Quart Jars I’ve been wanting to build a tiny house / large shed to house conversion for along time and this was on my bucket list along with a harvest, right freeze dryer so I won’t half to rely on a freezer or refrigerator for everything it’s not the cheapest pressure canner out there, but it’s one of the best, money well spent will do it all over again in a heart beat, I don’t think I would go any smaller then this model it’s perfect for what I need 1 to 2 people stocking up for rough times ahead .

I would suggest taking a class before using this. You can probably take a class at your local extension office. Really great quality, works amazing. I’ve used several times and I have had no issues. I use it on my glass cooktop. It does say in the booklet to call the appliance manufacturer before using it on your glass cooktop. Mine has been fine this far.
