26% animal protein was a big sale point...have gone through 80 pounds for Poodle dame in 3 months and she loves it, weight and growth from puppy to juvenile is exemplary. will continue on this regimen through adulthood

Dog food had strong smell. Even after bag been open and put in container. My other didn’t have that smell

This is normally excellent food but the seller sends me a bag that’s expiring soon and has a strong chemical smell which is not normal for this food. I do not feel comfortable feeding this to my puppy. Victor states on the bag that there is a 100% satisfaction guarantee and says that if you are not satisfied with this product, return the unused portion to your retailer for a full refund or replacement. Victor states that if it is stored properly, it should be suitable for consumption for 1 year. This particular bag does not however stand up to the quality I have received from Victor for years. If I do not get a full refund for this defective product, I will be contacting Victor directly regarding this matter if the seller on Amazon is not willing to comply with the Victor guarantee. I still stand by Victor and have been using this product for years and will continue to use it.

This review is for this product only and is not reflective of the seller. We purchased 2 bags of Victor dog food and noticed immediately upon receipt that the product had an unusual smell. We have several dogs, all who consume this dog food regularly. None of them would eat the food which was highly unusual. The bag was in-date and undamaged. The seller provided a refund and we would definitely buy from them again despite the situation.

We like the brand VICTOR. We normally buy the green bag for big dogs. We tried this bag for the first time and my dog didn't like it.
