What I appreciate most about this clock is the 6 levels of light intensity. I keep it on the lowest setting (not automatic settings) at all times. This clock is in my bedroom and I don't ever need to see it during the daytime so I don't mind that it's super dim during daylight hours.... but even then I can still read it. The light from this clock does not keep me awake, and it is not distracting at all.I myself do not use the clock for the charging feature, nor do I use the alarm setting. I simply wanted this to be a larger display (for when I'm not wearing my glasses) while maintaining readability in the middle of the night. Set up was super simple, very easy to follow. We had a power outage the other day, and because I had used batteries in addition to the wall plug it didn't lose the time... I did notice that it automatically reverted to the highest light setting. No worries, super easy to change back.The only thing I do not appreciate about it is the automatic dimming feature. It tried it but turned it off after a few hours. During the day it's great because it's the brightest setting, but during night hours( I wanna say 9 pm) the display turns off... you have to press the nightlight button, and it comes on glaringly bright.Overall, I recommend this, and would purchase again if needed.

This is one of the easiest clock to setup that I ever owned .Instruction's are clear and the display is great ,time keeping is so far accurate unlike my other wood clock that was too fast by 3 minutes a month(that is about 36 minutes a year) way way too inaccurate also the temperature /humidity display is quite accurate also,the only thing I did not like was that you have too hit the snooze button everytime you need the time to be displayed after it goes into auto brightness/dim mode,otherwise it is a nice clock especially with the large colorful display

My husband has had the same alarm clock since college and I hate it!! The alarm would just go off at random times because the on/off switch was messed up. Soooo....I replaced it with this clock. I read all the reviews and I have no idea what anyone was complaining about. This clock is GREAT!!! My husband loves it!!!! The big numbers are great, the alarm is great, the temperature in the house is great, and the fact that it charges his phone at night is EXCELLENT!!I saw where some people complain about the brightness of the numbers on the clock. They are very bright but they can be dimmed. When dimmed they are not bothersome at all!!!I’m very pleased with this purchase!! So is he...and we finally laid the other one to rest!! RIP!!!

Clock keeps turning off and on at different times of the day. Normally, a village idiot can program one of these things. Not so much for this one for some reason. I love the fact that it has the day, date, time, and temperature. Humidity I don't really care about, but it's there for those that want to know. Easy to read and streamlined model. Just can't get the darned thing to stop turning on and off.Updated review - plug broke after a month. Now it doesn't work at all. Used to have 3 stars. Now only one. Not worth the money. It's junk!

I bought this clock for my camper. It works really well and stays plugged in via the USB all the time. I have solar panels and this is easily powered by them. My only complaint is that the alarm is not extremely loud but I am a heavy sleeper. This would probably wake most people. This coupled with my phone's alarm clock does the job though. The thermometer works good and I like the humidity read out. As long as it's plugged in the auto dimming funtion works well too. If it's not dimmed down all the way at night it can be a little bright. Overall happy with the product.

Update: After several months of owning it, the USB power supply for the clock has become loose. So, if the clock is moved, to say, to turn off the alarm button (difficult and tight), the power stops. Erasing the Alarm time. This can be trouble, in that your alarm will not go off as the set time is erased. Even with backup batteries! It is not the USB, but the whole USB cradle nested into the clock is loose now. I so loved this clock, but alas, quality control issues have killed the perfect clock. First review: I researched and looked around for an alarm clock to replace my last one. I needed something with large numbers, as I am visually challenged when I sleep without my contacts. This clock is fantastic! Two inch numbers, means I can see them in bed without my contacts in bed. The 6 level adjustable brightness is awesome, but then I discovered the auto dimmer feature. From 9pm to 6am the clock dims itself to the lowest level, so one can sleep. You can still read the numbers, but it is not blinding. The gradual decibel alarm is also nice. At first I wasn't too thrilled with hitting the snooze button as the brightness shifts to the highest setting for 3-4 seconds. But then again, it's job is to wake you arse up. The day, month temperature and humidity readings are nice bonuses, especially when it auto sets itself. Good looking clock too. My only quibble is the alarm on/off button. It is on the back and a little tight/tough and can't be turned off with one hand/finger. Not much leverage when reaching over. So I have to use one hand to hold or pick up the clock and the other hand to reach around and turn it off/on. I am used to just using a finger or thumb to switch it off/on. Maybe over time the switch will loosen up a bit and become easier. Still a minor quibble, given all the positives! Great clock and will be getting another one for another room. The charging USB works also.
