Ninja Sizzle Pro XL Indoor Grill & Flat Plate: Another winner from Ninja! This grill is fab, it’s extremely well made, the ceramic plates are brilliantly easy to clean and do so without leaving any sticky residue and it’s big enough to cook for the family.I love the option of using flat or griddle plates. The flat will accommodate eggs, pancakes, fish (the salmon seared beautifully) and I’ve even done some French toast. While the griddle works well for the usual barbecue stuff - bangers, burgers, steak, chops and chicken as it’s provides a nice griddled flavour and the neat cooks through nicely with 2-3 turns.Very easy to use, the grill lets you know when it reaches temp and to add the food. The lid can be used down whilst cooking, however it doesn’t really spit too much as most of the excess fat is drained away and it’s pretty well smokeless, but is a good option to reduce food odours. A spritz of oil is a good idea, especially on the flat plate as most things you’d cook on this don’t contain their own fat and I think it assists with cleaning generally, but most things don’t require additional oil. Best of all the excess fat is drained into the well below for ease of cleaning.It’s quite reasonably priced, at £179.99, for its functionality, size and build and makes grilling ultra easy.

I was thrilled to try this Ninja Sizzle Pro XL grill and flat plate set. The XL is huge and perfect for cooking for a whole family or gathering. Perfect alternative to outdoor BBQs. Super quick to set up. The unit feels well-made and sturdy. I used a heatproof mat underneath to protect the table. I used this to cook burgers and bacon, and it was super easy to set the temperature/time. I thought I was going to have to watch it like a normal BBQ, but it was perfectly fine for me to get the rest of the meal ready while it was cooking.The grease all collected into the drip tray underneath which was easy to remove and clean after the unit cooled. The plate drops in place and is easy to remove for cleaning. The the lid kept in the splatters and took a bit of time to clean as the grease would push through the holes and catch on the edge so a soft sponge would be ideal for cleaning the lid. The grill heated evenly and quicker than a normal grill. There was so little smoke that I didn't need to open a window or anything.The unit is pretty big but easier to store than a standard grill in my opinion and more versatile. The cord is pretty short if you aren't using on a kitchen counter, but is worked perfectly will with an extension cord. The unit is quite heavy so I wouldn't store up high for safety. The food tasted amazing and had a lovely grilled flavour and that was even with the fact I forgot to season the burgers. Great option for people wanting a BBQ and lets you do even more. The flat plate is great for making pancakes/crepes and home-made crumpets.

This is going to be used almost daily in my home, I have been using it to cook breakfast, dinner and snacks. It comes with very clear instructions including recommendations on the grill itself. You will need plenty of free space as this is almost the breadth of my cooker.Set your temperature and timing and pre heat more is started, once correct temperature is reached it will tell you to add food. If food has not been marinated you will only need a light spray of cooking oil. Both plates simply set into place and heat is conducted right across for even cooking. Lid may be used either up or down but I prefer to keep it down to control splashing and retain heat. All grease is drained away into well beneath and cleaning is very easy indeed. Warm soapy water is all you'll need and the lid is detachable for hand wash or may be placed in a dishwasher. In my opinion it is worth every penny, all food cooks evenly and to your own taste. I have used mine for vegetables as well as meat, all perfectly cooked leaving no stickiness or mess. Ninja have a new fan, however the beeping sounds it makes often can be a bit loud. Treat yourself or give as a wedding gift, you will not be disappointed.

The detachable lid helps keep the heat in and the splatter out, and the grease catch tray makes cleanup even easier.I also like the recipe guide it comes with. It gave me great ideas to try, and now I use it almost every day. Whether you want to grill meat or make a quick breakfast, this Ninja does it all.If you're looking for a reliable and easy to use indoor grill, I highly would this one.
