This dashcam's video footage helped me successfully pursue a protracted insurance claim case following an accident. Although only the front camera unit was installed, the interior facing camera has such a wide angle lens that the incident was clearly captured from the rear and side window, on top of which it was night-time. The build quality of the Vantrue N5 is excellent and feels premium. The magnet mount is strong and secure. I used the permanent windscreen mount, after the accident I brought the suction cup mount to use temporarily, both are good options. From my experience the Vantrue N5 dashcam has excellent day time visibility for both the external and internal cameras. For night time the interior camera footage quality is excellent, whilst the external for night time is satisfactory. The vantrue app has been intuitive and does what is expected to connect to the camera and retrieve and share footage onto my phone. My only gripe would be there is no search function which means I have to scroll through potentially hundreds of files to find something. However, collisions are automatically detected and stored in a separate folder which is helpful. I used the original hardwire kit and had it fitted by an auto electrician. It worked flawlessly without any issues. For my next car I intend to have the rear camera also fitted. Vantrue customer support has been excellent as has their communication. I requested new stickers for the window mount which they sent without charge. After I realised the window mount was damaged due to the accident, they kindly sent out a replacement - again without charge. Thank you. I have recommended this camera to my friends.

Vantrue N5 or N4 Pro Review This is a verified review for the Vantrue N5 or N4 Pro which I purchased from Amazon. I am giving this 5 (five) stars based on its functionality and on my opinion from use over the last 4 (four) months. I purchased two for separate cars, a Volvo XC60 and a Mini. The one installed in the Volvo was easy to install and configure and using it was so easy. I wired this in myself and this is where the problem lies in this install. If using the OBD power cable, this has an angled connector into the mounting unit - great when you are installing next to the trim on the windscreen. The data cable connected between the rear camera and front camera has straight connectors on either end and is 20ft (6m) so in some cars this length is ok, in a mini or similar size you have a lot of spare cable to tuck away. Connecting this to the rear camera is a straight insert, for the front this is in from the top and interferes with install due to cable / connector stiffness an d can affect pin connectivity - especially if you want to place the camera at the top near the trim to make it unobtrusive. The video quality and sound recording is of very good quality and you can configure record timing / duration, where is will provide you with continuous coverage with exceptional field of view for front and rear cameras. Daytime and night time recording is both of good quality, sound recording is good and I like the fact you can give voice commands to take pictures etc. Alternatively for this function the remote works well too. Customer support is great, very responsive and support is great. Downsides in my opinion are: Cable from front to rear - connectors would be better if were right angles, and different lengths available based on car types / lengths. Mounting - in my Volvo was no problem, however, installation in a Mini found that the weight of the camera caused the sticky pads to disengage with the windscreen, possibly due to windscreen curvature so was troublesome ensuring it remained mounted - after using a strong adhesive and other pads we resolved this but it did leave some residue in place. I do not hesitate to give this Vantrue N5 Pro a FIVE STAR Rating for the camera functionality / performance and would highly recommend this camera based on its functionality and the quality of recording outputs for audio and visual - the best I have tried and easy to install. I think for the installation aspects Vantrue should consider reviewing these aspects.

Wow!! The Vantrue N5S is a jaw dropper in specification and pure power. Video quality 2nd to none. Resolution 4k and 4 views 4 cameras. The box arrived and the contents is pure quality. Sony starvis 2 cameras. Day and night vision. High quality cameras and cables and mounts. This is not a budget camera system it's in a high class of its own. Fitting kit full quality. Cable fitting tool. Screen kit allowing you to kit the cameras secure. Also in a way so if you need to refit then easy. Nice long cables. 12v plug for utility socket and if you want the battery fit cable kit it's available direct to battery. I chose to fit to 12v socket and it worked out great. Took me a couple of hours no auto electrician no garage bills all diy done by me. I'm retired pensioner and it's great. The software is stable and easy to setup and use. I am really impressed the captured images. Video and stills. Again WOW !! Vantrue... Excellence in a box.

Hier ein Überblick über meine bisherigen Eindrücke: Stabile Verbindung & einfache Bedienung Die Verbindung mit dem PC sowie mit der App funktioniert absolut reibungslos. Einstellungen lassen sich schnell und intuitiv anpassen – ganz ohne Abstürze oder Verzögerungen, wie ich es bei früheren Geräten leider oft erlebt habe. Hochwertige Verarbeitung Die Dashcam wirkt sehr robust, ist sauber verarbeitet und macht auch optisch einen modernen, hochwertigen Eindruck. Praxisorientiertes Design Man merkt sofort, dass bei der Entwicklung viel Wert auf die Alltagstauglichkeit gelegt wurde. Der SD-Karten-Slot ist leicht zugänglich, USB-C als Schnittstelle ist zeitgemäß, und die flexible Halterung erlaubt vielfältige Einstellmöglichkeiten. Hier hat jemand mitgedacht. Zubehör mit echtem Mehrwert Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist das OBD-Kabel für die 24/7-Parküberwachung. Die Installation war kinderleicht, und es funktioniert absolut zuverlässig – im Gegensatz zu Dashcams mit Akku, die bei Hitze oft ausfielen. Not at all worth. Its expensive but not worth the price. It stops recording in 1 minutes showing sd card slow. No matter what type of card or class of card size of card, format, reset you do. It just doesnt work. The manufacturer is not there to support Indian customers. You will have to interact with seller who will advise to change the sd card.
