This underwater camera exceeded my expectations. 4K quality and 56MP offer sharp images and vivid colors both underwater and on the surface. It’s a decent camera for its price. I have yet to develop pictures from it. You do have to mess with the settings to get it just right. Because originally the manufacturer settings are at the lowest megapixels which is a 12 so read the instructions and set it to 24. Also I suggest changing the focus mode as well. I’m a professional photographer and I was looking for something that does a decent job while on vacation without putting my equipment or my cellphone in harms way exposing it to water elements. And I’m loving the price as well it comes with everything even a SD CARD. Which was a pleasant surprise when I opened up the compartment to place the battery in the waterproof section of the camera.

Took this 4K underwater camera to the Bahamas and decided to test its limits while wave running—which, in my case, is basically strapping a camera to a small missile and aiming it at waves. Can confirm: it’s waterproof, floatable, and apparently stress-proof.The pictures came out crystal clear, the autofocus worked even when I was bouncing around like popcorn in a microwave, and the fill light made my “just got splashed in the face” selfies look intentional. It’s small enough to toss in a beach bag, but tough enough to survive both the ocean and my questionable decision-making.If this camera can handle my vacation, it can handle anything.

Can I put 1/2 star? We bought this to take in a once in a lifetime rafting trip with our granddaughter. It was a little complicated to figure out how to use it. The few pictures it took were good. BUT the battery died about a third way off the down the river. 😩 When we got home the tiny SIM card needed a special reader. My husband had to go the three stores before he was able to retrieve the photos. I’m sure there are better cameras available.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:The pictures were pretty good. Some blurry if too much movement, put it in sport mode for sure. My only complaint is the battery really is only about 1.5 hours of use. For that reason, I'll buy a second battery and a charging pack to take with us on our water adventures because the pictures were worth it. I put my phone away at water parks and pools so this is my only tool for capturing memories. It did what I needed until the battery died.
