I needed a simple case for storing odds and ends rather than pencils (pens and pencils would definitely fit) I love the rose gold one I got. It's much more pleasant to store things in than a plan plastic box. The material seems good. Since I don't take it anywhere I think it'll last a while. I might get another one, or another color, once this is filled. The cuteness factor is a huge bonus.

This pencil box top is beautiful. The bottom is typical plastic. The color is vibrant and the quilted textured lid certainly adds an extra touch. The only negative is that it took a while to receive it. I also ordered another one (at the same time) in blue/turquoise and haven’t received it yet. Please improve on your shipping time.
