Will this dig up grass to prepare new garden bed?

I would say no, the grass and roots would be too much for this tiller. It is more suitable for ground that is already cleared of grass.

hmmmm ... I don't fold mine but if you'll look at the photo, you'll see 2 large "wing"nuts on each side of the handles. I suppose you could loosen the two top ones and swing the the top section down: or loosen the lower ones and swing the top section forward. Sorry I can't be of more help. I'm in my easy chair and don't feel like walking out to the yard barn.

in user manual it states the warranty is 90 days, looks too short.. Expected 1 or 2 years. How is it performing long term?

I bought mine a couple years ago, and it still runs like new. It's honestly working better than the gas one. The only thing I would say is to keep the blades clean and untangled with roots.

Are there different modes of speed for this tiller? For example, is there a low, medium, and high speed?

Good morning I have not used mine in a couple of months but as far as I can remember there is no multiple speeds to it I did find out that it has a tendency to run quite quickly if there is a way you could put a stopper on it I think would help immensely and I'm going to work on that myself but the best of my ability I don't believe that there is multiple speed
