Heavy duty and beautiful
It took us awhile to hang this after we built it because we realized our wall didn’t have enough studs but I’m so happy we kept it. It looks great, is wonderful quality and holds everything we need in the mudroom.

Very Versatile Coat Rack/Shelf
We had a huge area in our foyer that needed something to fill the void. This rack filled that void beyond my wildest dream. It is pretty sturdy and relatively easy to put together. I put it together and hung it all by my lonesome. It can hold a pretty decent amount of weight, just make sure that you mount the cleat into studs. One of my issues that I experienced the shelf did not mount or connect flush in certain areas and I had to use some white caulk to blend it in.Outside of that, I really like the shelf. I found a perfect bench and a cushion to go on that bench on Amazon. It is quite the set up. It can hold a ton of coats/jackets/backpacks and also hold a bunch of picture frames and nick knacks. I have gotten so many compliments on the set-up. I am very happy with my purchase.

DIY DropZone, Halltree
We used this shelf to upcycle an old shoe bench into a drop zone/Halltree - the 60” shelf was the perfect length. We changed the quantity and spacing of the hooks for a simpler look.

Sturdy and Functional
Ok, let me start by saying that I read a lot of reviews on this product and I took a lot of other peoples suggestions. The directions say it only takes 30 minutes to put this together. I'm pretty handy, but it took me a little longer than that, maybe 45min. I put the hooks on last, after I had it hanging on the wall. Once you have this put together it is a very heavy piece for one person to lift. I definitely would recommend having two people to lift and position it on the wall. I measured out for my studs on my wall, then I positioned the mounting piece and leveled it. While holding it in place I marked my stud placement on the mounting piece. I removed the mounting piece and predrilled the holes. Then I put the mounting piece back on the wall and leveled again, holding in place I took a small screwdriver(you could use anything that fits in the hole) and went through the holes to make a mark on the wall so I knew where to drill into my stud. I drilled my stud holes then put up the mounting piece. Next, you have to lift the shelf up onto the mounting piece, this is where you will need two people. Here is where I added an extra step, I also wanted to add stud screws into the main shelf (the instructions also have this as an optional step). I'm a worry wort and didn't want the shelf falling down, getting pulled on, lots of coats and backpacks, etc, etc, etc. In the step where I marked my holes in the mounting piece I also marked for holes in the back of the shelf. So, after I had the mounting piece up a lifted the shelf into place (with the extra predrilled holes) I marked for the stud holes also. Then I had to take the shelf back down and drill my stud holes, then (ugh) I put the shelf back up and with the 4 extra stud screws I bought I attached the shelf to the wall. It fits very snug and tight. I added my own baskets and you can't even see the wall behind where the screws are in the wall. I could see this being a concern if you don't plan on putting a basket or something of the sort in there to cover it up. Overall I am very pleased with the shelf, it was a bit tricky to install, but it can be done. *Note, I installed this all myself, but I did get my ladder out to help with hoisting it up into place because of how heavy it was.

Great product for the price.
I paid $106 for the shelf unit and it is well worth the money. Easy to put together and hanging it on the wall was simple too. Looks great in my mud room.

Good wall mount coat hanger
Didn’t take too long to get together. It’s holding up pretty well. My only complaint is the mounting mechanism. I had difficulty getting the one side to line up as the friction from the upper half was too much, so there’s a gap.

Mixed feelings on this.
First, the plus points...* It arrived quickly and in excellent condition. This is the first item of "put-together-yourself" furniture I've ever received that wasn't damaged in some way. 5 stars for this.* Although it's pressboard and heavy, for it's size it was lighter than I thought it would be at least in relation to other pressboard items I've dealt with. Hanging it on a wall still requires at least 2 people though. 3 people would be better and safer. It is what it is and what it was advertised to be, so 5 stars for this too.* The hardware bits provided to put the piece together were sturdy. I was impressed that the cam locks were so strong with none of them breaking or bending during installation. Even the plastic dowels were of good quality. Definitely 5 stars for this.Second, the half and half points...* The overall look is nice and the cubby sections are pretty large for storing stuff. (More stuff will make it heavier so just be absolutely sure it's secured to the wall safely. This thing will HURT if it falls on someone, maybe even "I need to go to the hospital" kind of hurt.) The laminate over the pressboard is not the best I've ever seen and looks a little off and slightly fake, which it is of course, but I've seen much better out there. I bought the espresso color but I may end up painting mine to make it look nicer. 4 stars for the overall look and storage capacity. 1.5 stars for the look of the laminate.* It doesn't show in the photo but there is no full back board for behind the cubby sections. There is a section of about 4-5" high that runs the entire length of the shelf that the wall will show through. I suppose it could be useful for putting electrical cords through from the wall to the cubby shelf for items such as a digital photo frame or cell phone charger. If you fill each cubby up you shouldn't be able to see the wall but if you don't you'll have a wall colored strip of space poking out through the dark colored shelf. Or you will have to paint the wall a dark color or place some dark paper or other type of backing in each cubby. Overall, I find this very odd because the contrast doesn't look right. 1 star for the design with a push to 2.5 stars for maybe being useful for cords. (If cord usage was an intended purpose of the design there is no reason the opening had to be so big/high.)Last, the negative points...* I've put quite a bit of this type of furniture together and by far this was the MOST frustrating piece I've ever encountered. The directions weren't horrible but none of the pieces were labeled as far as A, B, C, etc... and determining up from down and side to side was tedious. I put it together and took it apart multiple times in order to get it right. 1 or less star for not labeling the components.* Hanging this item seems to be an afterthought to the design. Yes, instructions are provided but no hardware is included. Basically you are supposed to screw the shelf directly to the wall straight through the back boards. No pilot drill holes are provided, you are just supposed to find your studs behind the wall and secure the shelf to these. However, the really bad part is that each screw you use will show on the visible part of the back board. The designer seemed to take pains to make the shelf look nice with all the cam locks and dowels being hidden and then says to screw right through the laminate with your own screws in order to put it on the wall. I honestly don't know what the designer was thinking here. I didn't like this option so I purchased some metal picture brackets, the really thick, long and overlapping ones, and used these to secure the shelf to my wall. I give 0 stars for the hanging design.Final thoughts...This shelf is okay. I probably wouldn't purchase it again or recommend it to anyone who is even slighting mechanically disadvantaged. It requires a lot of patience and some thinking "outside the box" to make it work. I was able to make it work for me so I gave it 3 stars in total. Just be aware of its drawbacks.

Found cheaper elsewhere
Found cheaper elsewhere. Return required me to pay for shipping so I kept it. The stabilizer bar broke but the manufacturer replaced it very quickly and easily at no charge. Product looks great!

not bad to put together
But nothing is labelled, and all the hardware came in one big bag. A little annoying but not a deal breaker. It wasn't hard to assemble but one piece the corner was damaged. It went into a spot where no one will see so I'm not going to bother with returns or getting another piece. You'll need a drill, a level and a stud finder to mount it on the wall, and most likely a second person.

Love this coat rack!
We put the coat rack by the back door and placed shoe racks underneath. It holds all of our jackets, and the cubbies are great for hats, mittens, etc., and loads of space on the top shelf as well. Would absolutely buy this again.

I've had this bad boy for months now
I've had this bad boy for months now, and it has been awesome for organizing our many jackets. The cubbies are excellent as well for holding my hats, toques, son's shoes, etc. I even mounted a key holder on the side which has been a big bonus for me. It's still sitting tight against the wall with no concerns of it falling as it's mounted into the studs. The colour is beautiful with no missed painted spots. My only criticism is some of the predrilled holes were poorly done, but it was a negligible problem as I shifted the hook slight and made my own holes. Not worth taking a star away. This happens with mass produced products.BUY THIS NOOOOWW!!!!!!!!
