Helps loosen my scalp Psoriasis plaques gently and cheaper than a weaker and pricy medicated shampoo
I was diagnosed with scalp Psoriasis a few months ago and Doctor recommended a well-known 3% Psoriasis shampoo to help loosen the scales, which are mostly in the back area of my head. It is expensive. I went through most of an entire bottle of it without any results at all. I decided to just buy a separate, higher-concentration 5% Salicylic Acid, apply it to the scales, then pure, virgin coconut oil over that, cover my head in a plastic cap, let the mixture sit for over half an hour, then shampoo with a gentle, non-medicated shampoo, and gently comb the scales out. This has worked much better for me, and at a lesser hit to my wallet. I liked this version too because it's not oily at all and has a better price. This is not something my dermatologist recommended (who I haven't had a chance to tell yet; another appointment isn't until May) but I plan to tell her when I see her. This has worked well for me, anyway!

It’s doing a great job at clearing up my shaving bumps! I only shave about 3x a week to the skin( so that the salicylic acid gets in there) ! After a week I can tell a HUGE improvement in my skin.

Love this!!! As a.woman with mature skin, with occasional breakouts... this is the perfect serum to prevent those breakouts! I have not had a breakout since using this serum... which I have been using for 5 months!!!
