I had to get a bone graft on my upper jaw so I could get dental implants to replace my two front teeth. My periodontist had to remove bone almost all the way up to my nasal bone. The way a jaw bone graft works is they first remove unhealthy bone, then pack the space with bovine derived bone matrix. Your body will then naturally replace the graft with its own bone over time. That's where calcium hydroxyapatite comes in. For your body to synthesize new bone, it needs calcium in amounts greater than the daily recommended allowance. Calcium hydroxyapatite is the most bioavailable form of calcium, therefore your body will use more of it as opposed to excreting it. I am living proof of this. My bone graft was so extensive that my periodontist warned that after six months, if the x-rays indicated so, I would need another bone graft (additional surgery, cost, and six more moths of healing). Given the extent of the graft, a second surgery was likely. I didn't want to go through the surgery and cost again, so I began my research and found this product. After six months my x-rays indicated that my jaw had regenerated itself much more than my periodontist expected. His exact words were "man, you're like the Wolverine!" I didn't need another bone graft. I attribute this to two things: a healthy diet and taking calcium hydroxyapatite. My case inspired my periodontist to begin his own research in order to safely recommend calcium hydroxyapatite to other patients. All this began over a year ago and my dental implants are strong in my newly synthesize jaw bone. I needed this product for a specific purpose, but I continue using it daily. I'm basically indestructible now. Two thing you should know about using this product to get the most effective results: 1. The body can only metabolize about 1500mg of calcium per day. That 1500mg should be sparsed throughout the day. Each capsule contains 500mg calcium hydroxyapatite, so taking one capsule three times daily will be more effective than three capsules all at once. 2. The human body requires vitamin D-3 in order to synthesize bone from ingested calcium sources. To get the maximum benefit from taking calcium hydroxy apatite, consider a vitamin D-3 supplement as well. I take one 5000 IU vitamin D-3 softgel with each dose of calcium hydroxyapatite. Your needs may vary, but those doses worked extremely well for me. I am not a professional and this is only my opinion, not medical or any other kind of advice.

'Now' is a very good supplement choice overall

Dont use daily for very long, like 2 months tops, or maybe 3, or just a few weeks is all or only here and there with food is all you need to repair and strengthen teeth, eventually itll cause kidney pain and maybe kidney damage if usage is constant for months straight I'd go with just a few weeks and see how your teeth feel and then dial it back to no usage maybe

The Calcium seems to be good quality. I checked NOWs reputation and their reviews are good and they also have quality testing of their products. Since their prices are good and the quality is good, I buy a lot od NOW products.

I took a chance with this and was pleasantly surprised. It worked almost immediately. I have gingivitis and struggle to maintain my teeth. I oil pull every day, brush and floss, and wheat grass pull at night and still have deteriorating gum. After the first pill, I felt my gum tighten up the next morning. I have a loose tooth in the back, it's now more stable, less painful to floss and brush. I am still on my first bottle and will continue to use this. I also break open a capsule and brush with it twice a day.

My bloodwork came back with a Calcium deficiency. I've been taking these for 6 months now and my levels are great. They're easy to swallow.

I needed to remineralize my teeth after a long bout of horrible reflux. I had horrible sensitivity to cold and hot foods. My teeth had so little enamel that they had a bluish tinge. I tried many mineral supplements but the other minerals ended up causing issue. Most had ascorbic acid which my stomach can't handle or magnesium oxide which is basically a laxative. So I started taking NOW's MCHA calcium along with MK7 K2, magnesium glycinate and vitamin D. My teeth now are remineralize and no longer sensitive to hot or cold foods. If you are trying to strengthen bones, heal a break or remineralize your teeth, make sure you take magnesium, K2 and vitamin D with the calcium.
