It works really well for removing both regular nail polish and gel nails. For gel polish, I usually soak my nails for about 5–10 minutes, and it softens enough to be easily removed. There is a smell, but it’s not too strong or overwhelming—definitely tolerable compared to many other removers I’ve tried. One thing I noticed over the years is that the bottle seems smaller than it used to be about 10 years ago. However, the quality of the product itself is still great. I don't notice a strawberry scent. This Onyx Professional Nail Polish Remover is gentle yet removes polish and nail hardener easily. I am very satisfied with this product.
