I must say this thing is huge! Some asked can you cook a whole turkey in this thing and I'd say with the extension ring, Yes! After researching many brands and finding out all the pros and cons I decide to buy this one. I did not want a small one and also didn't like the idea of the teflon coating coming off on my food which many people complained about from other brands. It's a 16 quart glass bowl with racks and an extension ring included. I recommend you put it in a nice open area as it does tend to throw off a lot of heat. The heat comes out around the top of the bowl as well as the two bottom side vents on either side. The best place I had to put it where I didn't feel I had to worry to much was right on top of my stove. I have low overhanging cabinets. I set it on top of a glass cutting board first to make sure it was level and stable. Since I was worried about the heat I used my oven thermometer to check the surrounding temperature. You can see how hot it was getting behind the unit. This thermometer and the back part of the stove is about 7 inches away from the edge of the bowl. I was also worried about the cord touching the top of the bowl because it gets so hot. As you can see the cord is wrapped there with some sort of heat resisted fabric I believe to protect the cord. I remedied this by using one of my pot holder magnets to keep the cord off the top of the unit. I cooked the chicken legs at 375° for 30 mins. They weren't quite done underneath so I flipped them and cooked them for 15 minutes more. They came out juicy and delicious. They were nice and crusty on the outside with no coating and no oil. I just used a bit of seasoning. I'd also recommend leaving the ring nearby to set the lid on when you're checking the food, flipping it or getting it out of the bowl. The lid is quite hot and probably not best to put it directly down on the counter top. Clean up was easy for the most part. I put the bowl in the sink once it cooled and placed hot soapy water inside then placed the rack and basket in the water to soak. The rack came clean easily. The basket was a little harder because of the weave. All in all a great product but be warned it is large! My only gripe is that there are no directions for use included in the box. I had to use a YouTube video to figure out the basics like turning it on and what racks to use and how. I recommend this product highly. I hope this review is helpful.

It's easy to use and clean. Excellent for heating frozen goods like pizzas, egg rolls, hot pockets, French fries, pot pies and the like. Handy for cooking thinly sliced meats and fish. Not the best for meat on the bone. Issues: this is my third air fryer in two years. The first I broke by dropping the top. I bought another, and it worked for about six months, then it stopped heating. I was unable to contact anyone through customer service to use the warranty, so since it was a greatly used kitchen appliance in my home, I bought a third. It's that handy. But, be warned! If that motor stops working or that light goes out, you will have a big 100.00 glass bowl with a useless lid, because there's no way to replace anything and the customer service to use the warranty is nonexistent.

I own one of these before I just hope this one is in good shape because I see that the box is split on the top on the other side which I sent you a picture of that but I like I like the way it air fries and cooks and does all of that I have one before but the glass part got broken so hopefully that will not happen this time but I really really like the way this air fryer Big Boss Cooks if it's like the last one I had that I don't know what they called it then I don't think it was the big boss but it was made exactly like this and I love the way it cook

I really loved this air fryer. I've probably used it a couple dozen times. I've only had it for a little over two months and last night it wouldn't turn on. There's a little switch that turns the unit on, when the handle is pushed down. Well, the handle isn't pushing the switch anymore. If I push the switch with a pencil tip, the unit turns on. I'm really disappointed that my air fryer doesn't work any longer AND my return window closed five weeks ago!

My family discovered "cyclonic" air fry convection ovens over 30 years ago, and we've been using them ever since.. Air fry convection ovens cook crisp like an oven, but heat as quickly as microwaves! If you enjoy quick, crisp, hot food this may change your life forever. We love it. We bought them for friends, family, uncles & aunts, everyone. I even took one to college with me Eventually, the heating element/bulb WILL break in these type of ovens and usually the entire device must be replaced. {This is always such waste.. It would be more efficient & globally responsible if the design allowed the simple replacement of the heating element/bulb) We've gone through 7-8, I've taken them apart to diagnose and repair them, so I feel comfortable and familiar with these type of large air fry convection ovens. THIS one is very very good! Almost Excellent!!! Combination of heating element, halogen bulb, and IR hits high temperatures extremely quickly (vs slower halogen bulb ovens). Cooking time is enjoyably short. Excellent large tempered ceramic glass bowl provides a large space that accommodates more food at once. Glass bowl is also the best surfacer to minimize the hassles of cleaning. Steel racks appear of high quality and makes washing amazingly fast & easy (so far). WONDERFUL inclusion of a steel basket for small items! - extremely useful! It's unique, & the 1st time I've had one included with product. One design flaw prevents absolute Excellence: dial timer mechanism has absolutely no precision. Timer mechanism does not correspond to the visible settings, and heat does not correspond to timer mechanism or the visible settings. There is no way to set the device for small increments of time under 5 minutes. The device timer does not provide precise cooking. The excellent heating element, halogen bulb, and IR can quickly achieve the high temperatures asked, but the imprecise, 5 minute variance makes cooking challenging and risky. Timing errors when cooking at high temperatures can quickly and easily burn food beyond recognition. *Designer, please improve the Timer feature. We, your clients, will thank you.

After about a year of hearing how great air fryers are, I broke down and started shopping for one myself. Stayed away from the air fryer's with teflon in them, and found this non-toxic gem. Wish I had purchased one of these a long time ago! I've made veggies, tofu and appetizers, and everything has cooked great! I like that you can see it while it is cooking! I've been putting a cutting board under it in case it gets too hot, but I don't think it would be an issue if I used it without. It is easy to clean, works quickly and has to use less energy than heating up the regular oven!

So we use this every single day for something and it has become a staple in our kitchen. That being said using it that much has caused the heating element to crap out on us twice. We purchased the first one Nov. 26, 2023 and had to buy a new one Feb. 22, 2024. Now it’s Nov 16, 2024 and here we are again having to buy yet another one. Why not take advantage of a warranty you ask? Well because the link Amazon provides to contact Big Boss is a dead web link and there isn’t any contact information for you to use. It’s like the company doesn’t exist?? That is the biggest con for us is it hasn’t even been a year and we are shopping again for an air fryer. Very disappointing. We enjoy the size and for me the warm light is nice, also being able to see what you’re cooking is wonderful for someone who is forgetful or just in general. We’ve warmed food, cooked steaks, chicken nuggets, veggies, you name it. I just bought a whole chicken to cook and wouldn’t you know it, the air fryer dies on me. Sad! But overall I would recommend - just go into it knowing if you buy this and use it, you will not get longevity from it and Amazon will not help you get another one or utilize a warranty. There’s also little contact info for Big Boss. So if you’re cool with that I say give it a go.

I love this air fryer. I had a Big Ben before, a much larger one which was great! This one fits perfectly on the counter for ease of use. It’s extremely easy to clean and I love the that I can see my food cooking.

Ya conocía este tipo de hornos desde hace años, el que tenia lo regale a un pariente que le gustó y me compre este esta magnifico, lo uso para hornear y asar carne de todo tipo. Es fantástico.
