Its beautiful. Very carefully painted, and well made. You may not be able to see it in the picture, but the yellow dots and lines actually have volume and stand out from the surface of the cross like little lines of frosting. Rich, vibrant color, very high quality. It has a nail hole at the top of the cross. It is all porcelain or white clay. Its molded, sort of like a plate, from a sheet of clay that's about 1/4" thick, but its laid over a form so that the edges of the cross are more like 1/2" or 2/3" thick. Its hollow behind.

Really, really pretty. Also came weeks earlier than predicted. Highly recommend this piece of art.

I absolutely loved this item and actually gasped when I unwrapped it... it was so beautiful more so then i imagined. Unfortunately I was overexcited and dropped it and it smashed into a milliion pieces

Bought this for my daughter when she thought she lost the Talavera Cross she recently purchased when we were in Ensenada on a cruise. Even though she did find it, I'm giving this to her for Mother's Day because it is so amazing. By the way, this is a lot bigger than the cross she bought, and was less price than the one she bargained for! I know she will be thrilled! The colors are so vibrant.
