Works as described. Seems to have a safe mode for low battery takes about 2 hours to charge my vans lithium battery. Easy to use and set up keep in mind you need the Bluetooth module if you want the phone app.

Perfect power management for my truck to trailer installation. Easy to install and configure. The price is high but the quality is superior with the metal casing. I add the Bluetooth adapter for remote visibility and app configuration.

I Installed this in my trailers, and when I connected the 7-way plug from the trailer to the truck, the DC-DC 20 charger 20A would start charging my lithium batteries. My amp meter showed the current rise to about 15 amps and then drop straight to 0. The charger kept shutting off. The 10 AWG wire from the alternator back to the 7-way trailer connector couldn't supply enough current for a full 20-amp charge. The input voltage would drop from 14.0 volts down to 11 volts, which caused the charger to stop charging.. There is a 10-AMP setting, but you have to buy the $30 BT-2 adapter (not included) to change the output current from 20 amps to 10 amps. When I changed it to 10 amp via the extra cost of the BT-2 adapter, it works fine and provides 10 amp of charging. If the BT-2 adapter had been included, I would have been happy to give this item more stars. This charger is better suited for VANS or motorhomes that do not run through a 7-way RV connector and can use thicker wire.

Works well so far

Works well.. The app is not great and only works with the added bluetooth piece. Doesnt show the battery level just stays the same all of the time. Seems to work ok. Tech support uses an AI bot which is one of the best I have every used, however, getting to a live person is like pulling teeth. Lots of confusion on if it comes with the app or not. It doesnt.

Easy to install, easy to connect, straightforward instructions and set up for my lithium battery bank. However, I opted to add the BT-2 to it and once I did, I noticed it was defaulted to a power cap of 10A instead of 20A. If you don't get the BT-2, you'd never know it's capped unless you meter it and you couldn't change it to 20A without the BT-2 and the app. 3/5 stars only because it seems shady to cap it by default and require an additional accessory to get the full 20A when it's being sold as a 20A charger. This is so awesome because of the smart features. I didnt have to do too much other than essentially just connect it to the 2 batteries, it handles the excahnge, no need for an isolator switch or anything else. It is putting out just a hair above the 20 amps claimed from what ive seen and is defintely a nice option to have to help keep my camper van charged while on the go, especially on longer drives or cloudy days, or knowing in a real pinch i could run the van for a mintute to get almost anything done if it was an emergency. The app is fairly easy to use, and the whole set up has to be about as easy as a DC to DC charger can get. The build is great and like most of their products, i have to worries about the longevity of it. It was easy to get it tucked away with the rest of my setup, couldnt be more stoked about this for my van build. I' excited to see the real world difference in my next long road trip, but it should be substanial based off early estimates and how much I drive when road tripping.
