We have 4 aging large breed dogs. Watched cheezy commercials for the "green lipped mussel" (for humans) all over TV. Thought it was a joke. Noticed my wife had purchased Special Breed Powder for our critters and laughed about it. Mea culpa: The dogs are less "creaky" when getting up and moving around. Our 18 yr old (Dalmatian/ St Bernard cross) Is less shakey when standing and moving. Have to say this stuff works.

My 10 year old grand Puppy, black lab named Taz, loves the taste of it a lot!! He has really bad back legs his knees are bad. He still struggles but its a little better since we started this stuff. I wont quit using it because he loves it, it's affordable and if its helping even a little its worth it. He hates Cosequin and fish oil. He'll eat his food with fish oil but he really hates cosequin. We put him on a diet too, not related to the mussel powder! And hes lost 20lbs in the last 8 or 9 months!!

The media could not be loaded. This supplement is priced very fairly, and it produced results amazingly fast for our older mixed breed girl. I am SUPER impressed by it.One marker for how well my dog daughter, Jemma, is feeling is whether or not she jumps from couch to couch (see video) in our living room when she’s playing. She did this *constantly* in her younger years, but she’s eight years old now and last year she stopped doing it completely. It was sad to see my beloved dog get all these grey hairs and begin to succumb to all the mobility difficulties of having older joints, and just an older body. But I could see that the puppy-ness was still inside of her and she didn’t WANT to slow down. So I made it my mission to help her.Since January I’ve made a whole host of changes to try to get my Jem feeling like her old self. I can’t believe it only took a week to see such profound results. I really could not be happier.This is not a paid review, I am just an overjoyed dog mom who wanted nothing more than to see my baby move with ease and feel her best every day. I’m soo grateful I found this. I have a pet sitting business so I’m definitely going to be telling clients with dogs who have joint problems about it. I believe with the way modern dog food is joint pain and inflammation, and majorly shortened life spans are epidemics among our dogs. This supplement, in addition to other healthy changes, helps combat all of that.

My dog has been to therapy (water treadmill, red light, pain therapy, physical therapy) after he injured his knee a year ago. Of course therapy did help but he had to be on carprofen for the last 3 years due to pain with his age. He was still limping for about 6 months after therapy but we started this a few months ago and he is 90% better. He actually enjoys walks, puts weight on his back leg now, sleeps more comfortably. I wish I would have purchased this years ago, its going to be a staple at my house now. My cats love it and its so healthy for them, and my other dog whos in great health thinks its a lovely treat on her food. 10/10 recommend. Yes it smells, but its a mussel, it smells as youd expect but its not a bad smell. Its been easy on their bellies too! Great value!

Green Lipped Mussel powder has helped my large dogs tremendously. I get the larger jars which are well priced, especially with a subscription. Other brands were not as cost effective and couldn’t maintain the regular deliveries. This is the one to get.
