Now, I don't really feel 'manly' very often. In fact, I'm not entirely sure what the term means. But this is how wearing these boots makes me feel...I put them on with faded blue jeans and instantly feel as though I should be walking the dusty roads of the western United States, a bedroll strapped to my back and the prospect of hot coffee and some pork 'n' beans in a diner somewhere down the road. I'm hitching rides when I can but mostly I'm content to walk the roads, seeing what I see and doing what I do...*crashes back to earth*Of course *coughs* they're comfortable and they wear well and they keep my feet warm while I do my boring 9-5 office job as well.And the Supplier, Shoes By Claire, were lovely and very helpful, even when the ever-incompetent DPD claimed they had attempted delivery three times and had never, EVER, left me a card.But I've had trouble with them before...

These are really good quality and a good price at £55. Thick sole, thick leather. Good stitching. Look cool. Expect to last a long time. As others have said, fit is on the large size- ordered a size down and fit perfectly. Lovely boots.

Not the best work boot - after a week or two look 6months old

These are good boots. I usually take a size 9 (for trainers anyway) and reading the reviews, I thought trying an 8 would be sensible - plus boots generally are often a bit oversized anyway. I would advise anyone considering buying a pair, go for a size smaller than normal if you're really hoping not to have to send them back as they do not include free returns (not at the time of writing this anyway).Getting them out of the box, I thought they were going to be too small - they just looked small, then holding them next to the boots I was wearing, they looked obviously shorter from heal to toe. Then I put them on and to my surprise, they were a little loose, but I was so relieved they weren't too small, I was happy!Then I started walking around in them and new straight away they would need at least very thick socks inside and maybe an insole. Consider also my left foot is a little smaller than my right, it doesn't help - especially with slip on boots that are a 'fixed' size. Anyway, sorted it out, have got a big insole in both, a thinner sole in the left one as well and wear thickish socks with them and they're okay. They are a nice boot. Wonder if in fact a size 7 would fit like a glove. 7 1/2 might be even better but they don't come in half sizes. I wear them all the time as a casual shoe/boot and the only thing annoying me about them as that they have started squeaking walking on any hard surface - more the right boot than the left - fine on a carpet though.....Oh, one more thing, their colour is much darker than I expected - looking at the picture on the screen right now they look a nice tan colour, in reality they (or is it just mine?) are quite a dark brown, but they look good enough, so wasn't going to fuss!

Bought for casual wear , very comfy , lightweight and flexible, abit shiny but abit more wear and tear will give them the used distressed look I like

These boots are great quality, very comfortable and the fit is excellent. I spend most of my day on rough farm tracks when going with the dogs to gather flocks of sheep. The rough ground is hardly evident as the souls of these boots absorb the rough terrain. I have had boots of this kind made by other well known makers and much more expensive. These boots are much better quality and superb value for money. Will be ordering another pair very soon.

Oversize like a lot of people say. They don’t look bigger when you compare to other boots of the same size but there seems to be more room inside.Obviously no laces so you can’t tighten them.If your a size 10 get a 9 for example.

I bought these for my bf who normally wears a size 12 US but these were much bigger then I expected. I am returning these and will edit my review once I reorder a couple sizes smaller.

ATTENTION, ce ne sont pas des chaussures de sécurité, pas de semelle en acier ni de coque de protection. Les chaussures sont sympa, pratique et confortable. A la base lorsque je les ai acheté je pensais qu'il s'agissait de chaussures de sécurité, donc à la réception j'ai été un peu surpris; mais comme elles me plaisait bien j'ai décidé de les garder. Sinon je chausse du 43,5 et je les ai prise en 44.

I love the looks of these boots in the picture, but they are considerably darker in person. I suppose they may lighten up over time. The boots fit at least a size big if not a size and half. I tried adding insoles and extra socks, but still to large. I thought about getting a smaller size but decided for the price I paid I could get a better fitting boot and better quality locally. I returned the boots and got my money back.
