HAFELE 165 Degree Hinges with Integrated Cushioning Kitchen Cabinet Cupboard Wardrobe Door Steel Hinge Soft Closing Spring Full Overlay Straight Angular Germany Brand Pack of 2

Having spent many hours searching for a suitable 165 degree, concealed hinge, for a bathroom cabinet, I decided to try these Hafele hinges, available on Prime. My logic being, that if they proved unsuitable, I could return them free of charge. Others had posted questions about a replacement for this hinge and like them, I couldn't find a supplier of the DTC hinge in the UK, or any positive information on the supply of an alternative make that would be an exact replacement. I studied the configuration details of lots of hinges that looked ok but I couldn't be certain they would be suitable, usually because insufficient technical information was available. I didn't want to replace the cabinet, as it's still in very good condition and cost several hundred pounds. Hafele hinges appear to be a good quality product.

Use this as replacement hinge for bathroom cabinet. Original hinge was a DTC unit (part number 165A48). This one works perfectly. One thing to note is that on the non-cup end of the hinge, there are actually 4 screw holes, whereas the picture on Amazon only shows 2. Also the cup itself is slightly smaller that the dtc equivalent, but the spacing of the screw holes on that end is exactly the same as the dtc, so it's still held securely.

I bought these as Hafele soft close 165 degree hinges. What I received was a pair of non soft close, unmarked, cheap looking hinges with no fixings. I could cope with that but they were also of the type where the door only half closes against the frame so are unusable.I’m asking for a refund and will buy elsewhere.

Was expecting 165 degree soft close hinges as per picture. Instead I got ripped off with 170 non soft close that I could have bought from screwfix for £9.00.You won’t get a good deal,Hinges are cheap and nasty.Holes don’t even allign with old Hafele hinges.
