Does both the things it's supposed to - as mentioned in the title. I haven't used it when sweating heavily but this looks like it would be able to handle it.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt obligated to do so this time. This undershirt is incredible. As someone who has struggled with excessive underarm sweat for years, this undershirt is a true gamechanger.I bought BOTH these shirts and the ThompsonTee and these have been much more effective at blocking and absorbing sweat. I am going to return my Thompson tees and buy a couple more of these to replace them. I can't recommend these more highly.The only small issue I have with them is that sometimes sweat can seep through at the front of the pads as they don't quite wrap far enough to capture everything if I get really sweaty. I've found that I can slightly adjust them and it usually helps control that. I don't find this as a big enough problem to take a star off the review. Try these for yourself....you won't regret it.

Hides sweat very well.

I've tried every deodorant / anti-perspirant known to man and nothing ever worked. There are some colors you just can't wear if you have underarm moisture issues. These shirts completely fixed the issue! I can wear grey Polo shirts in the summer again! I normally wear a large in RL Polo shirts and pretty much all other shirts and they aren't loose or baggy. I weigh about 215 with an athletic build and I got a large in these shirts and they are stretchy and form fitting, so they don't add a lot of bulk if any. It is a little noticeable while wearing initially but I am used to it and the confidence of not having to worry about wet pits for outweighs any slight discomfort!

This is our opinion, from a paying customers perspective; others have had different experiences. They do NOT tell you that in this model the armpit area has a "absorbent" pad sewn into the area. Imagine having a "diaper" in your armpit area, maybe this ok for some individuals, but the discomfort and noise it creates, would probably make you sweat more. Nevertheless, it is not for me, I recommend paying the extra money for a true merino wool under tee.

Got the size small and it was like a size XL

Perfect! So my darling is wearing this t-shirt today while he travels and he is loving it. He does a lot of travel by plane and has to go to different climates on layovers. He has gone from warm to cold to hot today and has enjoyed the fact that the t-shirt seems to be "climate" controlled. He says "It keeps me warm, without making me sweat! And it also keeps me cool without being cold." The V is deep enough to allow him to wear his shirt a little open but still have the comfort of the undershirt without it being noticed. I love that he loves it! I'll be buying more until all shirts are replaced. Well worth the investment!
