The hair slide is really pretty and well made. My hair is on the thin side so it does not stay on very well. It is a bit heavy and better suits thick hair.

I love the appearance. It does work but has to be bent into shape and the pin is way too short and bends easily. Look nice, but won't buy again. Need to enlarge the pieces.

This is a cute little hair piece. It’s not super high quality, but I did not expect so for how inexpensive it was. It doesn’t fit all of my thick (but straight) hair, but works fine for a half updo - ponytail diameter of about an inch. Some other reviews said the stick was too short, but it seemed fine to me.

My wife likes this hair pin to hold her hair back in the style shown in the add picture. It is nice looking for the price (looks like nice pewter piece) and she wears it at formal functions too. She gets many comments on it and it gives her a unique look to accesorize from behind. If you like Celtic jewelry, you will like this piece.

HORRIBLE! This is so small that it will not hold even the tiniest amount of hair. The stick will go through the hole on the other side if you have nothing in it but no way if there is any hair. Sad because it is a pretty design. Just needs to be larger and better craftsmanship. Returning.

They are beautiful but hold so little hair that they don't stay in. I have very fine hair and I can't get enough hair into the Barrette and order to get them to stay in.
