Great book
I love how simply it’s written but still engaging. Easy to read and reread for my daughter and I have enjoyed it too.

I'm a psych grad who still reads her physiological psychology text book for pleasure. While this little book doesn't delve into action potentials or agonists, it actually does a fairly good job of explaining critical concepts in a easily digestible manner.Honestly, I wish I would have had this prior to my schooling because it would have clarified things I initially struggled to understand. Sure, it's a coloring book with maybe a dozen pages, but it still has a lot of useful information and illustrations that I can use to help the students I work with to understand the brain.

It's an EXTREMELY short read
I'm a little disappointed. It's only a 30 page book or since printed on front and back pages, it's really only 15 pages. But that's on me, I should have read more reviews. I think my nephew will get something put of it, but my 9 y/o niece is gonna blow through it in like 5-10 mins.

A very inspirational beginning tool
I confess, I actually bought this book as an adult because of its intriguing delving into the physiology of the brain! I love how it actually describes and illustrates how the brain actually ''thinks.'' It not only describes what the brain does but *how it is accomplishing what it is doing. In addition, It's clever attention to detail in its drawings is very helpful in impressing certain brain features in the mind. The reason I honestly bought the book hands down was because I was able to preview page 13 where it was written, ''Message sent from brain: Bend!'' "Message sent to brain: Bent and touched leg! That is just awesome. That sounds very simplistic but, as a college graduate, I have never seen such a concept of how the brain thinks presented in such a forthright but fascinating fashion. Thanks Patricia! Now...I would just like to see a book such as this (addressing to even greater detail) the wondrous mysteries of the brain at an adult level. What worlds could not be unlocked through further study if the physiology of the brain or that of even the world around us were more readily presented in the engaging fashion in which the things are already made?
