I am completely impressed (so far). I have tried so many different otc orthotics, looking for stability and relief. I finally found a pair that provide both. I slipped them into my Merrell hiking boots this evening and walking instantly changed from pain to pleasure! They fit my feet perfectly. The soft wool footbed is nice. You could probably wear them without socks. They feel strong and sturdy. I hope they last a while. My Merrell boots are size 7 and the men’s 5-5.5/women’s 7-7.5 fit inside them perfectly. If you wear a 7.5 women’s, you may want to go up a size. Better to trim a little off the end than to have them too short. I plan to buy a set for my other boots. I definitely recommend!

Ordered these for winter boots because my doctor told me to wear arch supports for foot pain. Although I was disappointed with the quality of the wool - a lot of it was coming out before I even wore the product, and wasn't well attached to the base - the comfort is excellent. I am wearing them in ugg-style boots and they feel very supportive and comfortable. Don't know about durability yet. My guess is that the wool will flatten quickly, but the hard-shell plastic arch support should last a while.

I've had plantar fasciitis issues in the past and had release surgery on 1 foot previously. These insoles fit in my shoes well with some adjustments and provide good support. The wool provides warmth as well so I won't be using this in the summer in Texas much but that's ok.

These Insoles have really good arch support. The "fur" makes them soft and cushy. I do wonder how it will hold up over time though,will it just get matted down? I consistently wear a 7.5 shoe and the 7- 7.5 insole was too small for my shoes. I tried 3 different pairs. They are too narrow and short,so your foot can feel the edges of the insole which is really annoying and irritating. One pair was the closest, but still not ideal. The last pair of Insoles I ordered was a 7.5 - 8 and fit without needing to be cut down, so I don't know if my shoes are bigger than expected? I tried a pair of ASICS, Saucony, and Skechers so different brands and styles. I attached a picture showing the difference and these are considerably shorter than the 7.5 line of the others. I think these would be nice if they fit. They are very ridged though, they are more support than cushioning. I prefer that, but it's not what everyone is looking for.
