This is the best underwater fish camera I've purchased. It has been reliably used for a season of ice fishing in the frozen tundra of upper Wisconsin where only the hearty dare to fish in the frigid temps of winter. I have used three other cameras but they all failed. This is the only one that lasted and is still going strong. It is quite simple to use. You unwind the camera cord and put it down a hole adjacent to your fishing hole. I set it for the same depth as my fishing line. I use the FishPRO Positioner as well but that would not be a necessity. It sure makes it easier though! The images are crips and clear. It has IR capabilities for seeing in the darkest of conditions. The line can reach up to 65 feet. It never failed all season long in the harshest of conditions including one day of minus 40 with wind chill factor.

Finally got to use this camera on the ice last 2 days. I'm pretty impressed with it.. I was in shallow water(6 ft.), so can't review its quality in deeper applications. Great for finding weed beds, structure, etc. Picture is very clear. Definitely helps with watching how fish react to your jig. It was a bit glitchy at times when zooming or using other video controls. They would stop functioning at times. The screen never locked up just the control function. A restart and all was good. Love the small size. I still have an older big name brand unit. Big and clunky and has sat in the closet for years now.. Will be great to hole hop looking for a good spot. Water clarity is the biggest factor with any camera. Even the big name brands aren't going to see through . Battery life was adequate . I used it about 5 hours each day, mostly in a shanty. Battery never got down to half either day. No record function, but that's not an issue for me. Over all for the price I am completely satisfied with this camera. Does what I need at a fraction of the cost of the big name brands.

Great Camera. I've owned other cameras and all I can say is that this one really impressed me. Color is great, picture is great. The battery life is phenominal. Size is compact and lightweight. Easy to use. The soft sided case makes it easy to store and transport. Really helps to know what fish are biting down there. Do yourself a favor and get the tripod as well. Ordered the camera for ice fishing on 29 Jan '23; delivered 31st Jan. Did not charge it out of the box. Took it on the ice 6 Feb, only had a glimpse of the bottom before the camera died, so put it on the charger. Used the camera for a short while 14 Feb, then used it the next day for a few minutes, but the battery was almost dead. The reviews had indicated a battery life of 8 to 10 hours, but my battery was not holding a charge. I sent an email to Moocor (could not find any telephone number) indicating my camera was not holding a charge. The very next day I had a response from their customer service! She asked for my purchase order, which I provided. Shortly, I was informed a replacement camera was being sent. I was amazed - Moocor definitely stands behind their product, and their customer service is the best I have experienced (personalized responses). The next day, my replacement camera was shipped, and I received it one day later. Incredibly responsive! Fully charged the replacement camera and it works just fine. Clear picture, very portable, perfect for ice fishing. Just to find out, I ran the camera at home to see how long the battery would actually last - did not get a low battery icon until 10 hours, it ran for 11 hours before I figured that was "good enough" for a days fishing. A couple of notes: do not leave the camera cord plugged into the body of the camera as it seems to drain the battery even though the camera is not turned on; use a loop of fishing line to fasten the weights onto the bottom of the camera as they will then self center; if you want the camera 90 degrees to the cord, the cord does not stay in the channel provided, so you need to use electrical tape to hold the cord in the channel; be sure to pre-position (orient) the camera properly to avoid a view that's skewed. I would strongly recommend this product for it's value for the money, specifically for their superb customer service. I gave it 5 stars for these reasons. Note: you could use this camera to watch your 6 o'clock while hunting, or for short surveillance of an adjacent area.

This is a great tool for seeing what the fish are doing below the ice. The battery runs about 8-9 hours in 10-20 degree weather. The camera works down to 20 feet. The nighttime infrared camera will show anything within about 5-7 feet from the camera depending on the water clarity. If you have the extra money, invest in a tripod to mount the TV above the hole. Trust me.

I loved this cam, battery is great, picture quality good, ease of use good. I used this cam about 25 times in 2 ice seasons. Last night the IR button stopped working. So now i can't use it at night. the regular cam works for daytime. Good for the money, but i'm sure it's cheaply made. I never owned a "name brand" so I can't compare, but this one is priced so I can buy 3 to 1...so in all, I guess it's still a good buy but don't expect it to last 8 years...at least the Infared.

Bought this for my son for his birthday. He absolutely loves it . The clarity is amazing and easy to use.

This is an amazing little camera. So compact and so light yet it works so good. I've see fishing cameras before and have always been interested in getting but the ones I've seen are much bigger and bulkier than this one. This camera can go in your bag for the day and you would never know it was there. The picture quality is pretty darn good and and the camera is so easy to use. It is simply plug and play. The design is very nice having a small flap that closes over the screen to protect it. It also has a long cord on the camera which is especially helpful for deeper fishing areas. I can't wait to use this ice fishing. I will be able to see if there are any fish swimming around down there before dropping a line in the hole. It is a cool concept and this one is executed very well.

Good value for the price, works decently well in about 15-20ft of clear water. Is a fun gadget to have but not necessarily needed

I got this for my husband 2 years ago now. It has held up surprisingly well, and he isn't kind to his things... lots of ice fishing trips banging around in the skidoo/skimmer and trucks and it is still going strong ! It's nice and compact with a good semi hard case, holds its battery life for a few days and the picture quality is decent. Great for if you don't want to take a big camera with you or if you're moving around lot and just want to check different areas/holes quickly.

First time using this camera and monitor. Not impressed at all 9 inch herring 1 foot below the camera and can barely tell what it is. Did the adjustments and thats the best the screen comes out. Spent hours trying to get it clear. Its definitely not clear as the pics show on the page. Dont waste your money on this. If you want something that is bright and clear spend the extra $30 and get this one. Bought this item for my father for fathers day as we always wanted to see what was going on under the ice when fishing! Device was super easy to use, and can modify the camera angle and settings for great view in any setting. Camera is very clear! Very fair price for item as well. Love it!
