Missing and broken parts - good customer service
Finally opened this to build with my boys and one of the pieces was broken. Thankfully I was able to contact the manufacturer who responded quickly and sent replacements for the broken piece to us! We've bought a lot of these in the past and they all have been amazing. I also wanted to give the folks at Pathfinders a shout out for having such awesome customer service. They sent me the part promptly and free of charge, along with a very kind hand-written note. Highly recommend this brand.

Fun day project
My 11 year old was able to assemble by himself and loved the power of the catapult.

Fun little toy.
This catapult was easy to assemble, and has worked fairly well. Some of the glue joints have not held up well and I started using some woodworkers glue instead of what they sent me. Otherwise seems fine.

Weekend Kit, longer to do more.
The media could not be loaded. To begin with I love Pathfinders wooden kits but their not without their drawbacks. On this kit in particular their were some fit issues and like others I feel the instructions could be a little clearer. Having said that with some sanding and other minor adjustments, I’m going to stain this and I added wheels, this really is a great kit. The box states that this kit is four 14 or up but at a minimum I’d recommend 16+. I’ve been building models for over thirty years and as I said even I had a few issues.

Great for Kids
Built two of these as a project with kids ranging from 6-8 years old. It was a great hands on activity to get them off their ipads. They needed some help with understanding the steps, parts of the gluing and getting the twine tied properly.Once it was built the had hours of fun propelling marshmallows, chunks of bark and clay balls in the backyard. Very sturdy so far.

Good but count pieces before start.
Not the easiest to assemble. (Not super hard just not easy). Bought this for my son faces of history project. It was missing a piece so I had to make a piece. My 11 yr old definitely needed help putting together. Its lasting really well. Weve had fun long after project over
