Handmade Leather Arm Guard Bow Hand Shooting Glove

I DON'T WRITE A LOT OF REVIEWS BUT SOME REVIEWS SAID THAT THEY ARE NOT REAL LEATHER I DISSAGREE THE ARE PIGSKIN VERY TOUGH........WELL MADE ..........EXCELLENT VALUE.............I DON'T USE THEM FOR ARCHERY I HAVE BEEN BUILDING WIRE FENCING WITH SHARP POINTS ALL OVER AND MY ARMS WERE CUT IN MANY PLACES ,,,,,,,,,,,,I BOUGHT 2 (ONE FOR EA ARM) THEY WORK PERFICT ..........NO CUTS ON ARMS LEATHER IS HARDLY SCRATCHED ..........I DON'T KNOW HOW THEY WOULD WORK FOR ARCHERY BUT FOR MY PURPOSE THEY ARE GREAT !!!

I like the am guard a lot. Servers its purpose well. BUT it fits the right arm better which leads me to beleive its supposed to be a right hand glove. Still works for left hand though, so if anything its just ambidextrous. Also I'm 6' 0" and 180lbs for comparison

I realize I have teeny tiny arms, but even closing this as tight and I can and wrapping the extra string around it, it's super loose on me. I'm 120lbs so not super thin but thin enough to where it doesn't fit me quite like I had hoped but I can tell there is quality in this piece and the leather is very nice!

I loved it, offers great protection from misfired arrows, wold buy again.

Add stated real leather however completely faux leather and a terrible fake at that. Returned it

I am 6'4" and about 250lbs, this bracer is not a good fit for someone my size. While it fits fine in the wrist it is the back part of the forearm near my elbow where there just isn't enough leather even with the under flap not to mention the bracer itself is not long enough. While it would work for where i get string slap from my bow, the comfort for me was way off and not a good fit. My wife however who is 5'6" and 120lbs fits her perfectly both in length of her forearm and girth. This is something that was most likely made in China for Chinese measurements, not for American sizes. To make matters more confusing the seller puts up no measurements of what size arm would fit into the bracer. This is something that is needed. The leather is also very soft and floppy, thin and looks to be fake leather-based on the look, feel and smell of it. Giving a 3 star due to lack of descriptive sizing information and materials used to make this bracer will not hold up well for long term.

Bow string slap happens and it can mess up an otherwise wonderful day of archery. I really like this arm guard and am very happy with it. It is comfortable and easy to put on and take off. Very high quality and design. It provides great coverage and the reinforced hand guard can also serve as an arrow rest.

I ordered 2 of these, for my daughter & I. As you can see from the first pic, there is a *lot* of "extra" leather, if your arm is wide. I'm 5'9", and the gauntlet comes pretty much up to my elbow. On the back of your finger and thumb, where you need arrow protection the leather is 2-3 layers thick. (3 for finger, 2 for thumb). So in terms of fit and function, I am very pleased. However, these are made in China, and the leather stinks like rotten meat. ETA: A month after purchase, the rotten-meat smell has noticibly faded. Initially, it smelled like something was rotten. Now, it doesn't stink, and I can only catch a faint, faint whiff of it if I stick my nose inside, on the "suede-side" of the leather. I have field-tested it, now. I'd hand-colored the fletching on my arrows, and I can see a couple marks from that on the glove -- proof that my hand would have been hit without it, yet I never felt it. Good protection. I also had a bowstring-slap incident.. I had about one inch of skin that felt it, above the elbow. No bruise, and the rest of my arm felt nothing. Wish there were more lacing-loops, but other than that, I'm happy with the purchase.
