A painful truth
This book outlines how time and time again Black Americans have been forced into cultural and financial deprivation for the survival of White America. It shows how life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness has been denied in the most insidious of ways.

Quite the piece of work
A long time ago someone said believe but verify..As I read this book I did as I always did cross reference, the book with other information from author of different demographics and viewpoints..This book was accurate on many facts..However as with most books, it told the tale but did not give a clear blueprint of how to move forward. I guess that is something for the next book..hint hint..I thought the book was well written and put together in short essay format which in my opinion made it an easy read..It also made it hard to put down as I was engrossed in all of the facts I thought I knew but was given an ah ha moment that explained why things were and are the way they are.. In a nutshell the message is clear 1. We are better than this but the progress made by people of color are saturated with obstacles in every aspect of our insertion into this country and every day life..2..This place appears to be a well designed money grab at pain of anyone who has the slightest hue to their skin..3..it really is team effort..4..The current issues are merely a continuation of what was as their is nothing new under the sun..#uniteorperish

A must read for any progressive black person. It starts with understanding your position, only then you can plot your escape.
Excellent book easy to read and understand. It reveals open secrets and takes you down a clear path on just how the black race has been conned and manipulated out of every achievement or claim to fame in history. The next time anyone asks me what have black people done for the human race, after reading this I'll know exactly how to answer. *****
