Proving once again you shouldn't solely rely on a couple of bad reviews.
I almost didn't buy these, but I liked the poses. These are well done. They ARE 28mm. Nearly perfectly so. They are gonna look small next to your Malifaux, your 40k space marines, your epic fantasy barbarians. Against superheros or dudes in power armor. But if you put them next to legit 28mm wargaming soldier minis, townsfolk from the classic DnD line or any of Reapers' townsfolk, they are spot on. The pilot figure standing up straight measures 28.17mm, base NOT included. The military officer is about the same. These are guys which are probably 5'10" to 6' and the scale captures this exactly. I paint a LOT. Daily. These have an excellent sculpt. Detailed but not busy, poses believeable with great anatomy. Clever, clean and very little flash. Good quality resin. Took Valleho primer from an airbrush like a champ. Washed in Reaper black wash to pick up the shadows and they are super fun to lay color on.

Not true 28mm.
Theses are not 28mm. More like 25mm. Nice looking minis.

Thin for 28mm
While Boardgame parts, these are a little thin for 28mmThey are suitable as background civilians in modern and near future 28mm miniature games using older figures that are not part of the scale creep for 30-32mm nonsense (Fall Out, 40k, Hero Clix, etc).So they work ok with Hasslefree, Copplestone, and Wargames Foundry miniatures. I am putting them on washer anyhow so will help with the center of mass. They are close enough to Battlefield Evolution. The poses are not really all that inspiring. The detail is there, but not really deep. I was just thankful to find some close enough to scale Civilians

Potentially useful minis for a variety of games.
I was a bit confused after reading so many mixed reviews; were these too small? Are they 28mm? It seems like every other review says the opposite of the previous one. While I am a fan of Pandemic, mainly I wanted some civilian/lab tech npc minis for a miniatures wargame convention scenario I'm running soon, so I thought I would take a chance on these. The verdict: well, they ~are a bit smaller than most of the popular 28mm lines. How noticeable though? That depends... I included some comparison photos, something that I couldn't seem to find online anywhere else that hopefully will be helpful to some. For me, I think I can make these work as they are relatively close to the Bolt Action/Infinity scale, just a tiny bit smaller. Maybe with a boost from a taller base they might fit in better. Also, a few of the minis seem to be slightly larger so there is some scale creep here. Compared to a Space Marine, they would seem quite out of place, but SMs are getting gigantic anyway. For the price, they're ok. Using them in Pandemic or other board games/rpgs will be a bonus.

On par with all other 28mm minis at my local game shop.
Exactly what I was looking for. I missed the kickstarter campaign and had to wait until they were available to general public. The quality appears to be very good. Some will need touching up from the molds like any other mini of this size. For what you get the price is on par with my local hobby shop for miniatures. I received them today and going to give them a playthrough or two tomorrow. They appear to be paintable as is, however the plastic is shiny in some spots. I would recommend priming before painting. One little nitpick, it appears that some have greater details than others but in no way change my number of stars.

Not really 28mm
The designs are great. The quality is good. But they arent really 28 mm. So it doesn’t really matter how cool they are on their own if they can’t mesh with the rest of your 28 mm world. I also like the idea interchangeable colored bases. But because they’re so small, those bases can’t be used on anything else.Maybe I can use them to represent adolescents or short people. Either way they’re not quite as useful as I’d hoped.

Excellent for Games
Great figures to proxy into Sci Fi and near future miniature games. I think they were meant for Pandemic but great for other games too. 30 figs with colored rings for bases to help tell them apart if you don't want to paint. very good detail. lots of choices for scientists, agents, medics, professors, military, ...

Best value ever for practice painting
I've read lots of reviews about the size of these - for me, they run smaller than the avg mini I use (28-32mm) but they'll still work. People come in different sizes and these just skew to the petite side of the population. My favorite use for these are to practice painting techniques/colors. There's good detail (especially for $1/each) for painting and bringing out details. The plastic is good quality and doesn't bend/get warped. Primer went on and stayed on with no problems. Why 5 stars? Even though the face/heads aren't as detailed as I would like, for a buck they're better than I expected. I was also expecting (hopefully average) 3D prints, but these are either well printed resin or molded (although I came across no mold lines that needed scraping). 30 different styles of figure, no repeats, and again for this price, are nigh impossible to beat.
