Life Extension Kenyan, Purple Tea Crystals, 14 Gram

First off, I must say that these contain more extract than either CUSA or Pique. You may need to add up to twice as much water to get a similar dilution. On the other hand, this makes these teas a better value than the other new “tea in stick” type brands.Second, Purple Tea is very rare and unique, and even the Green Tea is African in origin. Neither are what people are used to. If you’re a novelty seeker, you may love it, but if you seek familiarity in flavor, neither may be to your taste. They are quite unique!The bitter components, in particular, tend to be the healthier ones... and yes, both of these teas are more bitter than usual. The most bitter is the Purple Tea. The green tastes more like super concentrated green tea. Green tea that punched you in the face.Between the two, the Green Tea is the most palatable. It gives me a great energy and focus kick for hours. Really decent stuff. You can get a lot of quality work done using this one.On the other hand, the Purple Tea gives me more of a literal “healthy” feeling. Not metaphorically speaking, but quite literally.After a little bit of unwanted chemical exposure, with the requisite nausea and all, I had the idea to try some Purple Tea. Sure enough, it made me feel normal right away. It’s undoubtably the healthiest choice.If you’re health compromised at all, I think the purple tea is quite nice to get to normal or even supernormal in some cases. There’s really nothing else on the market like that.If, on the other hand, you just want an alternative to coffees and want a strongly potent green tea, the green is marvelous. I don’t get the almost euphoric or super zen feeling I get with the rare Asian teas, but this green tea is great for feeling strongier/mightier, energetic and just more capable.The only downside is that, like others here, I’ve gotten empty tea sticks, too.It doesn’t happen too often, but it’s sort of a bummer each time. No worries, though, Amazon will take care of it, or if it’s just 1 stick you can let it go — knowing that you’ve still received something very unique, and you actually gotten a good deal compared to competitors.It’s just a bit odd that a major company like Life Extension can’t afford a filling machine that detects when it makes an error and doesn’t fill at all. Apparently they went for the el cheapo model, which makes no sense at all for such a rich outfit. If they upgrade filling equipment, I’m sure we’ll all be much happier and these teas will get the 4+ star rating they actually deserve.

Great tea! I use cold water and a shaker bottle to make quick "iced" tea. However, the second android third purchases of this only had twelve packs each with tea actually inside, rather than the fourteen servings I expected

A fine tea but with every other package I get one or two stix with nothing in them, they obviously have problems with quality control. Disappointed with them because of the high price per cup of tea to have some of them empty.

I would put this in the just ok tasting category, so for the price, I'm not going to re-order.

Life Extension discontinued this product. Is it because this product was not so popular? I miss it.
