Omg where do I start, so far durability wise it’s been an absolute workhorse, I have mine on the kitchen counter which looks great, its not too big. I was a complete novice and I triple checked everything I was doing to make sure I was doing it right. I couldn’t believe how easy it all was, My seeds germinated easily and grew so quickly, I have 2 extremely healthy basil plants which taste phenomenal and 2 lettuces which I’ve harvested from three times already, my units on day 28….. Crazy! I bought it for myself but it would make a great gift for the wannabe gardener with no garden! I’m planning to buy more once I have space!

I would give more stars if I could. Absolutely amazing product , I got a smaller one as a gift previously and I fell in love with it. Such a variety of accessories what is also provided in the package. It is easy to assemble ( just got stuck at the point of how to extend the top) Durable, perfect size for my windowsill ( watch out for direct sunlight) , it can double your seedlings as it has two layers. Everything is growing quickly and pest free. I have two of them one only for fresh salad leaves, I am harvesting them when I need them. The second one is for fresh herbs , the basil is double the size like the one which I planted outside in soil. No fighting with slugs or diseases , so much easier. Fun for the whole family and fresh and pesticide free healthy products.

After buying my first house, the very first thing I wanted to do was grow things in my new garden. However, let’s face it, I’m in England, and planting delicate little seeds in March is still a very risky business. Maybe we’ll have glorious sunshine, maybe it’ll be a blizzard. Perhaps both, a day apart. I bought this so I could gently start off my new babies, with the intention to then plant them outside when the weather is safe… they’ll probably stay inside forever honestly. I was very pleasantly surprised at the kit, the pump is so quiet, i actually thought it wasn’t working at first. I like that you can see the water levels without any faff, and filling it up is easy (just remember to close the little seal on the back, my first attempt ended with my kitchen counters flooding, but this is my issue, not the product). It’s a compact little set but has plenty of pods to grow things. The issue I have with hydroponics is that if you’re trying to grow plants we might not be able to grow well in an English garden, the roots in the hydroponic all tangle together as there’s no separation, however this is probably my issue again as I should probably repot them once they get to that stage. The seeds grow so quickly, I planted them on a Tuesday evening, and by Thursday morning I already had little shoots, it’s fascinating to watch and gives me a sense of accomplishment despite the fact I’ve just yeeted a few seeds in there and switched it on. The lights, which are on a timer, do not seem to use much electricity either, I haven’t noticed any difference in our daily power usage. You also receive the little plant flag things, but not enough for every pod, I think you receive 5. A pair of tweezers is also supplied for you to gently put your seeds in. I did not use these, and trusted my feminine Mother Nature instincts to put the seeds in, which has resulted in my spinach being strangled by other spinach younglings desperately trying to grow. So, don’t pop in 8 seeds in one pod, it’s not gonna work out for you, or the seeds, look at the photo, they’re suffering. Don’t be like me. Great value for money, there are many more expensive versions available, but this one does everything I need, and is forgiving of my gardening inadequacies. Highly recommend.

I’ve been using the DRYADES hydroponics growing system to grow a mix of tomatoes, coriander, basil and ghost peppers, and it’s been a really interesting setup to get into indoor growing. Setup was fairly straightforward and once it was running it basically looks after itself. The built in lighting is strong enough that everything has been growing steadily even without any natural sunlight. Herbs like basil and coriander have been the easiest so far and have taken off quite quickly. The tomatoes are growing well too, although they obviously take a bit more time and space compared with the herbs. The ghost peppers have been the most impressive in terms of how healthy the plants look, but they are definitely slower growing, which is expected. It does need regular topping up of water and nutrients, but that’s simple enough and becomes part of the routine. The system itself feels solid and is compact enough to sit in a kitchen or utility space without being intrusive. Overall, it’s a fun and practical way to grow a mix of herbs and chillies indoors, and it’s been satisfying seeing everything develop from seed to plant without needing a garden.

I love it! My boyfriend bought me an idoo 12 pod for Christmas but it’s addictive so I bought this two layer one with 44 pods. Really quiet and, as someone who isn’t a very good gardener it’s so easy and really successful. I’m hoping to provide all of the salad and herbs we need and they grow all year round.

Can't get it to work auto on and off not working pump continuously on. light stays on passed 16 hours, can't seam to program it. Instructions not clear may have to return unit

This thing is truly awesome. From setup - it was so easy, and fun to get going. The instructions made sense. The pieces fit together beautifully. The pump is so quiet, you can just barely hear it kick on when you plug it in. The timed lights are fantastic and easy to operate. I planted seeds that have a germination rate of 10-12 days but saw sprouts in 3 with no food. It’s sturdy, it sits on a desk in my front room. I have two massive dogs and a cat and after 3 weeks no one’s knocked it over. It comes with every single thing you need. Except the seeds. If you have ever wanted to grow anything I highly recommend this. It’s so easy anyone could do it. I’m truly impressed.
