Perfect
Boater and had much more expensive brass clock w/ tide indicator that only lasted threes years… This is a much better deal!

Easy to read and use
Got this for our boat so I can have a click visible from the helm or galley. Quiet operation and great value compared to metal units. Still a tad pricy for plastic and I’m really hoping there’s hidden quality that I’m just not aware about.

A Good Compliment to any Nautical Decor on land
It's OK. Very basic movement, apparently the tide clock part is calibrated for the Atlantic. In the Pacific USA, you will need to match it to the tide chart for the tide at the time you set it. If I put it on a boat, it would be somewhere out of the weather.

Does not keep accurate time, even after installing a new batter.

Classic and reliable.
It's a lovely, classic design that mimics a mechanical clock, much like the old Chelsea clock. Read the dimensions to understand just how small it is, however. The size works perfectly for me, however, as I use it on a boat where space is limited. If this is for your home where you'll need to see the clock from across the room, I would recommend a larger size. The outside does look rather plastic-y so I painted it with a very flat graphite color (slightly off-black) and it now looks more like aged iron or something... a nice touch. Seems to be very efficient with batteries, as they've lasted a long time in there. Keeps reliable time, too.
