So after looking at comparable products, I decided to purchase this headset adapter for my iphone 7. It worked. I plugged my headphones in, and I can listen to music as well as use it for phone calls. Perfect. Initially, I was uncertain whether to purchase this one or the many other alternative brands (and some price points were a lot less), but the final determining factors that gave me comfort: (1) positive reviews from verified purchasers of this adapter (watch out for those products with hundreds of fake unverified reviews), (2) apple compatibility certified, and (3) I purchased another product from this brand before and it worked fine as well.Another positive is when I recieved the adapter, it was in a sealed mini plastic pack, which let me know that no shenanigans occurred and the product was brand new and unsed. The adapter itself had blue shrink wrap on the plastic pieces so it wouldn't get scratched.I have read reviews about product durability/ longevity, so I will provide a followup review if something goes awry, but let's hope not. Fingers crossed.

Needed this to be able to use headphones with a jack with my iPhone. This item did the trick.

I like the product so I can use my Apple earbuds with my IPhone 11. I use it mainly as a backup when my wireless ear buds need to be charged. The sounds isn’t effected because I’m using it with old Apple earbuds. I like that I can control the volume too. Prefer to keep it much lower than my JBL allows me to.

I have headphones I really like for an older iPhone and now have to use a newer one for work, so this little dongle lets me keep using my favorite headphones. It was really important to me that I could keep on using the ones that fit my ears well, as the standard iPhone headphones really hurt me, and these make that possible. Also, the sound quality is just as good, so win win.

Folks, make sure you understand that every product on the market is NOT going to work for your microphone. I found this adapter, and it has definitely worked like a charm. I use it with my iPhone and my Boya BY-M1 lavalier mic for my YouTube videos, and it works easily. Really helps for those of us who shoot video on our iPhones.

This headphone jack adapter works very well to replace the headphone jack that Apple has removed to keep its phones waterproof. My wife listens to audiobooks in bed, so bluetooth earbuds are not practical. They keep falling out of her ears. This little adapter lets her continue to use her earbuds with no problem. The adapter fits solidly into the phone, so there is no problem of it falling out of the phone.

This connects my old ear buds with my new iPhone SE so I don't need expensive new ones.

With buy electronics on this site, it is usually a gamble on whether it will work or not. These work. I have had these for about 6 months now and they still work fine. I always buy MFi certified (you should too), if I want a working Apple product. This definitely gets a 10 from me.
