Fantastical Females: A Greyscale Colouring Book

I so wanted to give a good review for my first attempt at greyscale colouring. I had done my research and thought I had made a good choice: wrong!I can't deny the pictures are very good. What lets it down is the poor quality paper. I have spent quite some time after it arrived giving it a test. I couldn't understand st first why it did not seem anywhere as good as the screenshot of a greyscale photo that I had printed off oncopier paper. Even my hubby had been wowed by it. I thought at first it was the poorer quality pencils I had bought as I didn't want to use my Faber Castell Polychromos when practicing. I was getting a lot of lines showing through the colour no matter how I used the pencil. When I used my blending pencil it was like grey was coming off and blending into the colour. This also happened when using the white pencil to highlight areas; ended up grey. It was only after I had the brainwave of trying my better pencils I realised it was the paper. It was very thin with a poor surface. Needless to say, despite bring only £2.75 it is going back so I can put the money towards a better quality colouring book.It is such a shame the paper quality has let the designs down. I noticed the previous reviewer hadn't actually used the book at the time of their review; I would be interested to know how they got on after actually starting it.

I received this book twice instead of book I originally ordered. Really disappointed with it as although I'm up to par doing grey scale and grey scale photographic pics these are awful.The pictures are just not nice and the paper feels very thin.

This is a great grayscale colouring book, the pictures aren't too dark like in other books and they're beautiful! I love this book and can't wait to get started.

Pictures are far to light , I could print better on my computer printer and I did , you would think they ran out of ink when printing , it's terrible

A4 paperback book with numerous great images for you to add colour to.
