MinnetonkaWomen's Kilty Moccasin,Brown,7 Wide US

I was hesitant to try Minnetonka again after purchasing a pair of their ankle boots which are extremely narrow and none too comfy. I pored over the reviews, heeded the ones advising to size down, and was rewarded with the perfect fit. I have fairly wide feet with short toes, wear a 6.5 in regular shoes, so I ordered 5.5 in these. I opened the box and slipped them on; I immediately loved the look of them but they were a little tight. I recalled other reviewers mentioning that they stretch so I was not too worried. I have worn them about 5 times now for about 5-6 hours at a time, and they've stretched nicely to conform to my foot shape. They are ungodly comfortable and I hate to take them off, hate that it is winter and I can't wear them all the time! We have had a few warmer days here in the South this winter and I have worn them to run errands and of course just around the house. Since they are soft soled I don't want to shred them by walking on the city sidewalks which is a shame; I walk dogs for a living and treasure a good pair of walking shoes. These are great for walking on bare earth so I will use them for light hikes in the woods.They do look awfully narrow in the box and that can be daunting for those of us with wider feet. The toe box is rather shallow but since my toes are short, this is not a problem for me. I love how they make my clunky feet look smaller and more feminine; never thought that would be possible! I decided to order a pair of hard-sole thunderbird mocs in the same size so I could walk dogs in them. Alas, it is taking longer for those to stretch and they pull a bit where the sole meets the leather. Not horribly uncomfortable but so far they won't work for extended walks. They still look great though! Something about the harder sole takes away from the comfort factor I suppose.I will order more of these in the soft sole because when I am wearing them, my foot problems are greatly eased (arthritis in one heel that I broke 10 years ago). I like the foam insoles; others have mentioned that they prefer to remove that piece so as to feel more connected to the earth. The padding does not feel bulky to me and I can still feel the ground beneath my feet but everyone is different. All in all this is a fabulous shoe that I'm sorry I didn't try sooner!

I've been buying these moccasins since I was in high school. Every pair is the same excellent quality. I like the ones without a hard sole because it's like walking in bare feet. I mostly wear them around the house instead of slippers, but I've also worn them outside. They're the best!

These softsole moccasins are so cute and comfy ... but it may take a few tries to get the size right! I'm normally a size 8 and have the natural style of these in size 7.5, which fit great. I ordered 7.5 of the black and they are HUGE. I kept them to wear with socks. Tried to order size 7 and received a hard sole. Returned those. Since size 7 wasn't available in black at this time, I tried 6.5. I love them! They are slightly narrow on my wide foot, but not too bad. I know in time these will stretch to fit perfectly.

This moccasin is manufactured in Dominican Republic (yeah). It has all the quality of suede, color, cut, and fit as the same ones I has purchased directly from Minnetonka for decades. They will wear well and last for years. I Love them and will continue to purchase from Amazon not Minnetonka. I don't know why there is a difference but I hope Minnetonka will stay with the Dominican Republic and discontinue making in Honduras. Just prior to ordering these I ordered 3 (all different sizes) of the same moccasin directly from Minnetonka. None of them fit and they were manufactured in Honduras. Hummmm. The color was not true to the original brown and the quality of the suede inferior. The cut and fit were way off as well - too narrow toes with heals that were too large. Also the stitching was already fraying the suede. I was charged return shipping by Minnestonka twice until I complained siting Amazon's free return policy. So my advice is that if you're looking for the long relied on quality and fit as you have for years with Minnetonka moccasins and if you find the products they directly distribute not up the your expectations, then you definitely must consider ordering from them Amazon. These are keepers with great fit, true color, and beautiful quality suede. I am so happy to have them.

I've had a number of moccasins from Minnetonka through the years, and they are always good quality and nice styling. Next best thing to being barefoot. I love that these sole-less mocs are so quiet when I walk around my wood floors. The foam insert is comfy. They fit true to size -- order a half size larger if you want to wear them with heavier winter socks.BUT -- Because there is no place to complain about ONTRAC delivery, I'm doing it here, hoping the sellers have a way to complain to Amazon Fulfillment Service or to ONTRAC. My building has entrances on two sides -- one close to the street and for the other you have to walk around the building or come in from the parking lot /pool side. It's not that big a building, only 2 units on a side, so only 8 in the whole building. Takes less than 2 minutes to walk to the other side. ONTRAC consistently leaves packages on the wrong side of the building. These mocs are the 4th wrongly delivered package from ONTRAC this year while FedEx and USPS can manage to read the label and get the correct unit's door. Having nice neighbors who bring the package around or let me know it there is not the point -- It's like ONTRAC delivery can't be bothered with accuracy or security of your delivering orders. Minus 10 stars to Ontrac. Plus 10 stars to Minnetonka.

Loved wearing these in college, wore holes in the soles. But will have to return them because I broke my foot and it didn’t heal right and they just don’t work anymore. So sad!

Just realized absence of soles. Any possibility of putting on soles by cobbler?

Ich mag aufgrund meiner Behinderung keine anderen Hausschuhe tragen. Habe mir früher immer ein bis zwei Paar auf meinen USA-Reisen mitgebracht, konnte aber aus Gesundheitsgründen nicht mehr fliegen. Ich bin heilfroh, dass es sie jetzt bei Amazon zu kaufen gibt. Sie halten eine halbe Ewigkeit und sehen schick aus.

Aufgrund meiner Behinderung kann ich nicht ohne Schiene in normalen Hausschuhen mit festerer Sohle laufen. Ich hatte mir die Mokassins immer in den USA gekauft, als ich noch reisen konnte. Dann hier in Deutschland viele Jahre vergeblich gesucht. Bin heilfroh, jetzt welche gefunden zu haben. Aus unerfindlichen Gründen sind sie mir aber ein wenig zu groß - die nächst kleinere Größe zu klein! - Da muss etwas geändert worden sein, weil ich mir genau die Größe bestellt habe, die ich in den USA. immer gekauft habe. Aber egal, ich trage halt etwas dickere Socken darin.Ich hoffe nur, dass ich sie mir weiterhin auf amazon kaufen kann.

Amazing! High quality, and fit my "normal" width feet perfectly. I heard people talking about ordering up one size, but I bought my normal shoe size and they fit perfectly. Sizing charts provided by Minnetonka are perfect. The soft sole / no rubber sole make these the perfect slippers for anyone living somewhere cold and dry. We live somewhere very cold & very dry, and all other slippers generate huge amounts of static that generates huge shocks. Shocks that have literally killed previous external hard drives and an old iPhone! I work from home and can't won't my computer or iPhone being damaged over slippers. If you need low static slippers, these are your dream.Extra bonus for people who keep things too long: They have a small, light cushioned insole that looks easy to replace in the future. (If I couldn't do it, a shoe repair place could in 5 minutes.)
