Great to alarm if there is a leak
I got this to check for any leaks at the back of my fridge. Very happy with the product.

Good quality useful alarm
Very pleased with this. The lead is a useful 82cm. The alarm sounds the instant the prongs touch water and stops immediately its out of the water. Will also go off if the prongs touch wet carpet, cloth or paper. Plenty loud enough to be heard anywhere in a smallish house. Seems well-made and reliable. It comes with 2 double-sided sticky pads - one for the sensor prongs and one for the actual alarm.

Loud. Oh so loud!
Very loud and works perfectly. Alarm sounds immediately as both detector rods connect with the water.

Only works when it feels like it.
Day 2 of using it, and it didn't go off when the tank filled with water and flooded the kitchen. Goes off when wet sometimes and not others now. No good if you can't rely on it.

Yells at me when the bath water reaches the set level
I dangle it over the edge of my bath so that the prongs are at the level that I want my water to be filled to. I also use a plastic sucker that I had lying around to keep it in position, but not really needed. Very loud! Because of the noise I tend to be more alert to the water filling and most of the time I turn off the water before the alarm is activated.
